Fantastic service and engineers

Wildanet engineers were at my neighbours installing and I asked them when they would be installing ours, Brian contacted the office and they booked me in that same day which was fantastic. Kai was my main engineer and was professional and respectful throughout. He is a very conscientious worker and cleaned up when he was finished. The entire team, Kai, Brian, Chloe and Kurt were all friendly and polite and honestly I couldn't have asked for better
I will recommend Wildanet to everyone

The engineers are great

The engineers are great, arrive on time and communicate their arrival and plans very clearly so I’d give them 5 stars however in the office no one seems to be communicating with what’s going on or responding to emails so they get 2 stars

Easy Switchover, Friendly Engineers

The switch to Wildanet has been extremely easy. Only one star missing as communication could be improved. I wasn't made aware of the external site visit, and also wasn't given a rough estimate of when the internal installation would be taking place (I say this as someone who works full time so needed to ensure I was working from home to allow these to happen)

I cannot fault the installation from Kai and Finn. They were both very polite, friendly and informative.

Excellent service on installation day …

Despite a delay with the installation date , on the day , the service was excellent. All done in 40 minutes. Neat job and the guys that installed it were lovely. Helped me connect my phone and TV before they left . Very pleased 👍

Having a new router today.

Joel came to fit my new router today. A very nice young man, pleasant and courteous. Thank you very much for all you did today. 20 out of 10 lol 😀

Mixed Bag

Absolute charlatans that did the survey and fibre to the property but the second guys who fitted the router etc were amazing!

Told them where I wanted the box on the property and they fitted the opposite side where I have limited power. Wire now hanging off the exterior wall, no clips and just a mess bit this is what happens when you outsource!

Router guys were a pleasure and very helpful, complete opposites and couldn’t fault them!

The whole process was five star

The whole process was five star. The chaps that brought fibre to the house were efficient and professional. Today, Aaron installed the router. All cabling was done discretely and following my requests. He left us informed and with superb broadband. Highly recommend.

Thinking about a change to fibre

"J" in the sales department was very helpful in explaining the process to me and suggesting the best package for my needs.

We had underground installation.
There was a lot of good communication with customer services to arrange suitable dates for the work to be done. There was always someone to speak to every time I needed to phone.
Having the different teams arrive on so many different days to do their part of the installation was very unhelpful for working people and if your installation was not straight forward and needed discussing first.
The outside teams will just put the boxes anywhere without a thought of how good or bad it looks. Mine is straddling the dampcourse which I understand from my son should not have happened in case it causes a damp problem. Had I not been there it would have been 1.3m up the rendered wall in a very obvious place, with a mauve cable going down the wall.

"L" who did the inside installation was absolutely excellent 5 star. His friendly manner made him very easy to talk to. He listened to me explaining what had been agreed so that the cables could be hidden as much as possible. He expressed his concerns however completed an excellent job with minimal mess. He made sure everything was working as it should be even though it was past his finish time and overtime isn't paid.

The process could have been improved if all of the teams had arrived on the same day at different times.

We do try to align teams with full installs, however sometimes more complicated jobs require different teams which means we need to bring engineers back on site to complete the additional work. Finn and Kai were the most pleasant workmen I have had undertake work in my property.…

Finn and Kai were the most pleasant young men who did the installation. They explained what they were going to do and then when all the work was finished they cleaned up and took away all their rubbish to dispose of rather than leave it with us.
They were exemplary and a real credit to the company. I trust they are properly appreciated by the company.

Broadband was installed after a small delay…

Broadband was installed after a delay through access on the road. Wildanet staff always friendly and helpful. Chloe who did the final install very helpful and knowledgeable. Everything works as it should

Absolutely brilliant service from a local team!eadline

Moving over to Wildanet has been the best decision. The full fibre speeds are fantastic and completely reliable, which is a massive relief after years of dealing with laggy, dropping connections from the major national providers. What really stands out is their customer service you get to speak to a real person who actually knows the area, rather than an automated bot. Brilliant speeds, great prices, and top tier local service. Highly recommend!

Your customer Service agent Tsara Leslie-Jones has just helped me with my new Wildanet internet and microsoft account settings on my desktop PC.
As someone (me) who is not that computer literate, she was so patient and helpful.

Day after day of dreadful service

Day after day, week after week of dreadful service. The internet frequently cuts out, but there's never anyone available to sort it out. Lines only open during office hours, Monday to Friday, so basically when everyone is at work.

I've had issues for months, but the only time I've been able to speak to anyone when the service has actually been down, they just told me to reboot the box. Surprise suprise, it worked for about 20 minutes, and then back to the same old rubbish service.

I cannot recommend Wildanet.

I see the response here from Wildanet, but I can assure them that I didn't just report this two days ago. The service is intermittently bad, normally during their closed hours.

I reported this months ago, with logs of weeks of poor service. I'm sorry that they haven't kept records of my complaint.

They have now promised to replace my router. Time will tell if this resolves the issue. It will certainly create headaches with our connected home tech, but if it resolves this long standing issue, I guess it's a price worth paying.
