 moins du respect de vos obligations je ne souhaites plus faire affaire avec vous à l’avenir et je crois ne pas être seul à penser ainsi.

In December of 2025 I booked a guided trip for 10 days in Egypt with WingBuddy. This also included airfare from Miami to Cairo going through Doha, Qatar. I chose my seats on the flight leaving on March 26, 2026, $185.00, and also the return flight $185.00, on April 4, 2026.
On February 28, 2026 the United States and its allies attacked Iran. Qatar, among other countries, was attacked by Iran. My flight inbound and outbound was through Doha, which closed its airspace to commercial flights. They eventually partially opened the airspace to evacuate people stuck in Doha, Qatar.
I called WingBuddy the first week in March to get a refund based on their Peace of Mind Policy, which the following is copied and pasted.

This is a financial protection plan that Wingbuddy contributes to on behalf of all passengers who book directly with us. We will gladly help you complete any documents required for this.
We monitor both the Canadian  and US government advisories for the most up to date information to keep our passengers safe.

Their response to that request was, “That only applied for COVID.” At that point I just wanted my money back instead of taking a chance where Iran was bombing inside Doha. The following is my invoice that I paid, plus the seats were a separate cost

I informed WingBuddy that I was traveling alone and could not take a chance on getting stranded in Doha with bombing going on. They said there was nothing they could do unless Qatar Airlines gave a refund, but that I would not be getting a refund under any circumstances.
I kept checking to see if my flights were changed. I finally saw my outbound flight changed to ITA Airlines going through Rome. The return flight stayed the same with Qatar Airlines going through Doha.
I called WingBuddy again and they informed me that unless it was 10 days from my return flight Qatar Airlines would not allow them to change the flight without penalty. That would mean I would have to fly out on March 26 and not know if I was going to get home or stuck in Doha, because their flights out of Doha were being cancelled and a flight every 3 or 4 days out of Doha, but none to Miami. I was told that there was nothing they could do, but I would not be getting a refund no matter what.
My choice was not to go and lose what I paid, or book a flight on my own to get home. There was no way I could get on a flight alone and not know how or if I was getting home.
I called WingBuddy again to ask them about a new flight and got the same answer. So I booked on LOT Airlines going through Warsaw, Poland to Miami.
The following is my reservation on LOT and the charges for a one-way ticket.

$675.17 and $760.90. That is one way to avoid Doha, Qatar.

I called WingBuddy again the day before I was leaving to tell them that I had booked my own flight home. They emphasized that because I wasn’t patient there wasn’t going to be any refund, in other words, the same thing they said at the beginning.
The Qatar Airline flight was not removed until April 2nd, 2 days before I was leaving to go home. It was replaced with nothing.
When both flights were removed because Qatar Airlines allowed it, my $185.00 times 2 for seats were refunded to WingBuddy.
I want a refund of my seats that I paid for and the cost of my flight home with LOT Airlines. They should have just refunded the entire trip based on their Peace of Mind Policy. This company’s position is no refund under any conditions.

Cela fait 2 fois que je book un voyage avec Wingbuddy et je suis vraiment satisfaite de leur service client et de leurs forfaits clé en main. Je pars toujours en pleine confiance. Je recommande fortement.

Nous sommes revenus du Japon il y a trois jours. Et sincèrement ce fut mémorable. Nous avons vu beaucoup de belles choses peut-être même trop… pas assez de temps off ! des fois on avait 20 à 50 minutes max pour explorer entre les activités. Mais ce qui a gâché le tout, c’est les vols de retour. 4 aéroports dans notre cas. Dont la dernière où on a dû attendre 6h sur un banc c’est ce qu’il l’aéroport était fermé pour la nuit !
Dommage, parce que notre guide était excellent, il parlait un excellent français, et il était plus qu’adorable! Et j’avoue que la nuit au monastère je m’en serait passé, dormir par terre avec un repas vegan , je suis resté sur ma faim

Nous souhaitons que le voyage ne soit pas à l’image du service obtenu après l’achat de nos billets… La condescendance de la dame au service à la clientèle a été fort désagréable. Nous n’avons senti aucune ouverture à offrir de l’aide, lors de la problématique exprimée. Le tout se résumant à “arrangez-vous avec vos troubles “. Aucune imputabilité alors de le problème naît du moment de la réservation. Vous pouvez communiquer avec moi pour plus amples détails.

Making sure everything runs smoothly.....it was well taken care of when our flight leaving yeg was cancelled due to fog. Everything was great and no complaints...so we booked again and hope we can have the same experience.... but with a few changes.
