I was charged without authorization and…

I was charged without authorization and have been charged almost $360 over the past two years without knowing. I cancelled the subscription 3 times two years ago and somehow I was still signed up for a subscription I never used! If you look at the Better Business Bureau they have many awful reviews and complaints on the exact same issue! RATED F ON BBB.

Nikki in customer service told me she was going to make this right and offered me $12.50 cents. Awful terrible company. Do not use !

DO NOT TRUST this company

DO NOT TRUST this company with your financial information. They charged me for a yearly subscription (83.88) for an account that had previously been canceled! Keep track of your bills and watch out for charges. This company should be held accountable for this. Imagine how many people miss these charges.

WARNING: SCAM Unauthorized charges for 100 of dollars

I was charged hundreds of dollars without my approval or consent. None of these fees were communicated in any form. I cancelled my subscription but they kept charging me for years without me knowing. Extremely unethical and misleading and customer support did nothing to help. I can’t warn you enough — do NOT trust this service.

UPDATE: I reached out to customer support again regarding the 357 dollars they withdrew without my knowledge or approval. Will provide update after I hear back.

Received a “Delivery Status Notification” saying the email address provided in wordtunes reply below was not found and that my message wasn’t delivered..

Customer Service is bad

Customer Service is bad. I send from mails to help center to fix ai workspace on spices (on black under purple text, mostly). They are just lazy and do nothing. Beware of frustration when using it. PS: I in fact used it since 2020, and 2023 was its peak, now is garbage

Billing issue

This is my second review of this company. I have spoken with four different people regarding the billing issue and it has not been resolved.
My emails were always sent to the email address help@, but today it states that the address could not be found or that the email could not be received.
What communication methods can you use to reach these individuals? There is an email from them stating that I can assist you or guide you, but you cannot reach them.
There is so much secrecy around them. While they express their willingness to assist, they are not interested in doing so.
Additional info - 20.11.25

I am having difficulty sending emails to Wordtune, they are not reaching it.
As well, they have asked about the payment to assist me when I can see the bank took the funds ten days ago.
In their emails, they are too polite and do not take any action. I have never dealt with a company like that before.

I have been charged for the last year…

I have been charged for the last year for a Wordtune subscription, (roughly 20 per month) since November 2024 under my old work address. I was made redundant and have unfortunately not had access to this email or used this service, but the payments are going through despite notifying Wordtune.

I have contacted help Wordtune email numerous times (wont allow me to add to this message) but I receive undeliverables. The only other option to talk to a chatbot which goes no where.

I need this to be actioned immediately and to be provided with a working email address to contact you on. I need my account to be cancelled with immediate effect and to be refunded these payments.

Bad changes

Used to use this app so much in 2024, but now I find myself using it less. The suggestions are repetitive, off topic, and uncreative. I don’t know if there’s been a model change, but I really do miss wordtune 2024.

Beware of Wordtune,

I want to warn others about my recent experience with Wordtune.
Over a six-month period, I repeatedly emailed them to cancel my subscription and never received a response. During that time, I discovered they were double billing two of my email accounts.

Only after I left a negative review did I finally receive a reply—six months later. In that response they admitted they had received my earlier emails, apologized, but stated they would refund only one month on just one of the accounts.

This experience left me feeling frustrated and powerless. In my opinion, no customer should have to fight this hard to stop a subscription or recover unfair charges. I believe it’s important to share this so others don’t endure the same headache or risk being charged for services they thought they’d canceled.

I wish I could attach screenshots. They will flood your inbox with AI chatbots as customer service. It’s time to notify Chrome and Firefox, get this scam trash removed from the browsers.

Do NOT ever subscribe to this app. You will NEVER be able to cancel. It’s a terrible service but even worse, you’ll keep getting billed forever. Avoid.

The list of suggested alternate ways to rewrite my words has been amazing. There are a number of features to fine tune and improve on what you write. It's impossible to cancel

It's impossible to cancel. This is the worst experience one can face. I emailed their help address, but the address cannot be found. They continue to bill me; my account no longer has the option to cancel.
