Have to stop by and leave my sincere thanks to Workhap. Been following the page for a little while and finally I feel like I have proper guidance on how to step up in my career, navigate the job market and interact with recruiters/hiring people. After following their tips, I got two job offers for the role I had been trying to get for over 2 years. Thanks guys, you’re awesome 🙏❤️

I first learned about Workhap and Sho through social media and loved his videos, but it wasn't until I wanted to switch careers from data to design that I sought out his help through GHA!! I would highly recommend GHA to anyone looking to switch careers or just looking for guidance and insight during the job search because it can most certainly be a frustrating process. Sho is such a genuine guy who loves to help people out and cares deeply for the people he works with. Working with Sho was definitely a confidence booster - he helped me improve my interview skills and taught me how to leverage the skills from my old career into my new one. He shone a light on skills that I didn't think were relevant or worth mentioning and changed the way I viewed the whole job interview process. I'm ever so grateful to have discovered Sho and his GHA program. I landed a job and got a 50% salary increase due to this! Sho's content on instagram is gold; it is informative, interesting, and entertaining! After months of not really knowing what I was doing, I used Sho's teachings to reformat my resume and applied all his advice about interviews and speaking with recruiters. In the end, I landed myself a position at a fortune 500 tech company fresh out of college! Furthermore, I used Sho's advice and got myself a base salary raise and a signing bonus. I recommend to anyone new to the job market or looking to make career changes!

I was interviewing for a manager role at a healthcare org as an analyst with a new company. I knew I was qualified but also that the pay range HAD to be a big jump from where I was at. When the question came of salary expectation, I took Sho’s advice on approaching this conversation. I literally said “I really want to make sure the role is a good fit for your company and myself, so I would love to learn more about the role before discussing comp.” The recruiter (who was fabulous) wouldn’t take that answer. I then just asked “are you willing to share the pay range for the role instead?” AND SHE DID! The low end of the range was already a $25k increase. When the offer came, she said they were so impressed that they offered me right in the middle of the range, which was $35k more. If I didn’t ask that question, I was prepared to ask for a rate that was about $20k more than my current role. And here I am. Making more than I ever expected to be. I went from $60k to $96,500 with a 10% bonus.

I had discovered Sho's Instagram right before GHA opened around January 2022. I did not join GHA program then (regretfully), but kept following him on Instagram throughout the year, vowing that I will join the next time GHA opened. It eventually opened up around summer 2022, and joining GHA was one of the best decisions I've ever made.

I gained so much knowledge and tools, including tips and feedback on building my resume and LinkedIn profile. Sho is the best coach ever! He was so motivational and encouraging of me to take on challenges and be confident in myself. His coaching changed the way I think about the job search process and instilled the confidence I needed to take on what has always been my biggest hurdle of the process: interviews.

Sho's tips helped me optimize my LinkedIn profile, which caught the attention of a recruiter for a role I later secured. My new role is a 30% bump from my current role, along with other benefits I hadn't been getting. But the biggest win for me was, for the first time in my life I went into all my interviews feeling confident and left knowing the interviews went well. Goodbye forever, pre-interview nerves! Sho’s workshop helped me understand how to present career pivots in a natural manner without feeling like I was weaker than my peers. I wanted to thank you for all you do. The past two years I’ve been job hunting and ending up in companies who didn’t value me— which made me doubt myself. I found your TikTok a while back and listened to your advice and began building back my confidence.

A few months ago, I left a hopeful comment on a video saying I was talking to a company about salary and waiting to accept the offer. Luckily, I listened to my gut (and your advice) and noticed they were not willing to offer me what I was worth. They used all the red flag lingo you’ve talked about so I took my name out of consideration. I was terrified to let a job go in this economy but I took a chance on me.

Today was my first day at a company that I can see myself being with for a long time. They offered me FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS more than I asked — which it $10,000 more than my highest paying job before now. Even better than that though, I have a genuine manager who cares about my mental health, my work life balance, and that I get to be my fantastic non-binary self.

I’ve learnt a lot from Sho‘s workshop, especially in the field of how to react and respond and what kind of attitude and qualities recruiters want to see during an interview, that’s quite important, since we could get advice and corrections shared by a real and experienced recruiter. The mock interview is really helpful, bcuz it not just showed the process, but also some body languages and other minor parts that may leave impression on the recruiters. I 10/10 recommend Sho as a Career Coach!

I've had da strong resume and good SEO before but now I'm having to reduce the number of interviews I can accept.
I know that sounds cheezy or fake but I can't interview more than 5 times in a day, I'm drained after that.

I love all the advice I get here. I recently got an amazing job for which I felt underqualified, but this was one of the smoothest interviews ever, from scheduling it the first thing in the morning to asking relevant questions and showing interest.
