Nothing wrong with the hob ring. I cannot return this as it is fitted to hob with wiring to it disconnected. I will just leave it
Nothing wrong with the hob ring. When it was connected the ring came on even though that knob control was in the off position. It also came on when any other ring was swithed on and the onlyway to turn the new ring off was by switching off at the wall. At the end of the day I should not have done anything, not ordered the part or the labour.

Good reaction to damaged items.
Item arrived damaged (suspect is was damaged in transit). Managed to get a replacement very quickly without having to wait to return the damaged item.
Good response once I communicated this, and delivery fee was reimbursed.
