They claimed that the piece was made to…
They claimed that the piece was made to order and that was why it took 1.5months to ship.
When it arrived it was manufactured in 2021 and hallmarked only a few months after manufacturing. For a company that relies on trust, where it is both pure gold and they will rebuy it at market price, is unacceptable.
On top of that, their shipping tracking was unworkable, the portfolio value was completely off (bought a chain for approximately 3000, portfolio had a value of 57005 and subsequently crashed due to being wrong).

Please also note that it is not possible that the piece you received was made in 2021, as there is no stock in the business of that age.
There may also be some confusion regarding the portfolio: unless the gold market rises to the level described above, your £ 3,000 chain can't have increased in value to £ 85,000.

The chain was thinner than the photos…
The chain was thinner than the photos make it look.
The marketing feels disingenuous- “get it before it’s gone” (when it’s all supposedly made to order)
“Talk directly with the founder” (when they are offline) etc.
Also, despite coming with a velvet pouch, the chain and pendant were delivered separately in plastic bags, reducing the experience.

It was an extreme pleasure doing business with 7879. Their customer service is 1st rate, with every aspect of the transaction being quick and efficient. The best part is that the platinum necklace I purchased was delivered by Christmas, as promised, and absolutely sparkles, and is visually stunning. This is my second purchase from 7879. The quality of the jewelry is absolutely amazing! The customer service is very helpful and responsive! For my second purchase I had to pay US duty fees which I wasn't aware at the time of the purchase and they covered 50% of the fees! Great company with great products!
