Beautiful Neon Green wool! So good, I bought it twice. Doesn’t seem to go as far as other 100g balls or would have been five stars.

After never being quite sure about buying fabric i can’t see/ feel I have to say I’m a bit of a convert to Abakhans wonderful service. I have found all prices really competitive, fabric arrives appropriately packed and in a timely manner. I have never been disappointed. Long may it continue!

Every physical shop I have gone to is fine and wonderful, but I was left no choice but to order online recently. That seemed fine, as I have ordered from them previously.
However, something has happened with the quality of services at the online warehouse and I am disgusted. Paid extra for next day delivery. Had to email for first next-day order. It seemed no one had thought to pack it until reading it based on the response, but it thankfully still arrived on time.
Had to send a nagging email to actually find out where my second order was, on the day it was meant to arrive - it hadn't been despatched until someone actually took the time to read the email and has only just despatched it this morning.
This morning. It won't arrive until Friday. For some reason, it's at Heathrow.

The person on the other end phrased it as if it had been despatched much earlier in the day, but the timestamp of the email confirming shipment that arrived right after their response disproves this.

It should have been here yesterday, and now my sales will suffer at an important time. I have not been offered any refunds for the now redundant extra postage charge, despite website promises. It is unsincere and foul.

I make a lot of my clothes using fabrics from Abakhan. The fabric is usually super high quality. I often don't have to finish the seams (with the jersey), I can wash in the machine and don't need to iron. I am not a professional and know very little about sewing and fabric but I can use a machine so I really enjoy experimenting with the different fabrics I buy from the remnants dept and in the sales. I have learned what works for me and I get complements about my clothes, sometimes after years of wearing them.

Never got my order. Had to contact them to ask why. Was then told they could not fill the order. Why did they not contact me or say at the start they they could not fill the order. Refunded no problem. Contacted them to ask why they didn't let me know- still waiting for a reply.

I placed an order that qualified for free delivery, but I chose to pay for next day delivery to get my items quicker. After several days, I received an email from Paypal informing me that my account had been credited for a partial delivery refund and a refund for some fabric. No parcel had yet arrived. A few days later I received an email from Abakhan with a delivery tracking number, which did not work, so I contacted customer services. Eventually my parcel did arrive, but at no point did Abakhan apologise, and the level of uncertainty for so many days made me feel like I might have made a purchase from a scam website. It was very odd. A heads up that my parcel was late would have very much been appreciated. My delivery charge was fully refunded, since my order had qualified for free delivery, but I had to ask for that to happen. It was weird.

A haberdashery item arrived slightly damaged. I emailed Abakhan and they immediately replaced the item with no fuss. Excellent service as always.
