When I was younger, fit and more able bodied, I used the shop in Hanley. Now I am retired and troubled with walking difficulties I order online and have always been extremely satisfied with the service, quality, prices, in fact every aspect of shopping with Abakhan. I have often recommended them to friends. My recent purchases are lovely and better than they looked online.

I was looking for lining material and ended up ordering it in 2 colours and also a beautiful piece of Chinese Dragon viscose, which was so lovely that I have placed a second order! The quality of all the materials I ordered is excellent and good value for money. Ordering online is easy and delivery good, thank you.

I cannot find any fault in either the products or their very helpful and kind staff. I have bought many fabrics and sewing stuff, and the quality is superb. The Liberty fabrics are extremely good value, and I cannot rate this company highly enough. No doubt I will be placing many more orders with them.

Had a small mess up with receiving the wrong coloured thread, it was sorted in a timely fashion and was easy to sort on my end. I received a 505 thread instead of a 504 that I had ordered, when I emailed to query if I could switch they communicated with their supplier, only to find out that 504 is no longer made! I got sent a free returns label via email and popped them in the post. Very easy, and very helpful, thanks!

Easy to order online, choice was good, delivery charges reasonable, delivery was swift.

I've been a fairly regular shopper here for years . I haven't needed to purchase anything for a while ( I probably have more 'stash' then they have !) but when I was looking for specific fabric this was the place to go .
They have a huge range of stock and plenty of bargains . Anything you order is sent out almost immediately .
I've never needed to use customer service as everything has been spot on every time .
Definitely recommend.

I've recently order cotton fabic to make summer shirts and blouses. It was lightweight and really good value for money. My orders arrived quickly and were well packed. Will definitely use Abakhan again.

I discovered this store on a visit to the UK last year. I bought wool on that occasion to crochet a baby blanket. I was really impressed with the quality and softness of the wool which is not available in Ireland. I have since ordered wool on line from this store. Easy to use website. Quick dispatch and very good tracking. I will definitely use again despite having to pay customs charges in Ireland due to UK no longer a member of EU.

Abakhan is a very good company to deal with. I recently order some plain dyed cotton material from them. One of the colours was a wee quarter of a yard short and customer service contacted me immediately offering a series of alternative options. Now that’s what I call customer service. The prices and the choice of fabric is amazing. Not only do they have lovely fabrics they also do a good range of yarn for knitting and crocheting. I would urge all crafters to take a look at Abakhan, it will be well worth the effort.

I had inadvertently put the wrong postcode on my order, hence my order was being passed from one Royal Mail sorting centre to another. I emailed Abakhan explaining my error and the next day I was copied into an email they had sent to the RM asking them to amend the postcode.

Had to contact customer service regarding a small issue with my order and they could not have been more helpful! Love their products and am looking forward to delivery of my latest order tomorrow. Very prompt and efficient.
