Rotten meat and bad customer service
Mouldy food, missing items, meat that stinks of rot, two day expiry dates, obnoxious customer service from Alfie & Rosko
This company is unreliable having been with them for 15 years cuts and efficiency changes means you are essentially buying items that in a supermarket would be in the yellow sticker isle in a bid to offload poor product at inflated cost
When this company started it was fantastic, the past 18 months has been pathetic

Lots of variety of items
I started shopping here after having a bad experience with riverford who were constantly having items missing from my order and reciepe kits plus other issues . Iv placed 3 orders with able and cole and I have to say so far I am very happy with them. They have a large variety of different things to choose from from food to household items and even flowers and plants. The items are always well packaged and fresh . The other thing I like about them are they also have very unique and unusual products for example charcoal sourdough bread which id never heard of before so it's been nice to buy and try different things . I also contacted customer services about something and the lady I spoke to was very lovely and helpful. Able and cole also gave me a free item with my first and second order and even sent me a free tea towel in my third order as well as discounts off fruit and veg boxes . I do like a free gift i hope this continues . So far so good I hope I continue to have a good experience with them .

Vegetables do not last long enough for us

Appreciation for your driver, John
Although not currently a customer (I was many moons ago!) I wanted to point out a job well done.
Recently we've had a tonne of roadworks on my street making it difficult to deliver packages. My experience with other (generic) delivery companies has been sub-par. The driver marks the product as delivered (although it hasn't been) and then you're forced to reorder or get a refund. Quite infuriating.
Your driver John, in Reading this morning, didn't do that. He parked in a safe location a short distance from the home he was delivering to, navigated the roadworks and ensured the products were safely delivered.
I really like to see a person deliver outstanding customer service, so please do give John his well-deserved accolades!

High quality flexible fruit and veg to your door.
We started using Abel & Cole as we found supermarket fruit and veg wasn't that great. We now get a delivery every Tuesday. Our delivery driver is super lovely. We can see via the app what items are due and switch out anything we don't like or need. We've eaten a few things we wouldn't normally purchase.
