Excellent delivery service
Very fresh good quality products

I look forward to my fortnightly Riverford deliveries. The fruit and vegetables are always fresh and exactly what I ordered. The delivery service is reliable and the driver is friendly. I’m now branching out into ordering butter, cottage cheese, cream and yogurt. The Brown Cow yogurt is the best I have ever tasted!

Went out to find my car was blocked into my drive by an inconsiderate Riverford Organic delivery driver. If he had parked just 10ft back he would not have been obstructing anyone. A Ford Transit LG25 UGS.
As I was about to go out I asked the driver to move his van ... go a barrage of excuses and a mouthful of abuse!
He seemed to have no idea how inconsiderate his actions were and didn't see he was doing anything wrong!
Seems he thinks he has a highway code exemption and a priority pass!!!

Dreadful attitude!!!
Driver needs a lot more manners and to read the Highway Code...he also needs to remember the name is plastered on the van!!

High-quality produce, reliable service and great ethos

I originally signed up for a veg box after being repeatedly disappointed with supermarket quality (especially meat and veg). I’ll admit, I questioned the price at first, but after a few deliveries I can honestly say it’s worth every penny.

I’ve now had 5+ boxes and each one has been fresh, on time, and exactly as described. I really enjoy the variety too; the weekly small changes keep things interesting. It’s completely changed the way I cook now. Instead of repeating the same meals, I now cook around what’s in the box, which has pushed me to try new recipes and use cookbooks I’d forgotten about (+the Riverford one is so helpful!). Cooking feels fun again, and I’m definitely eating a more balanced, veg-packed diet.

The boxes last me around 1.5 weeks (for 2 ppl), which is amazing value and encourages me to use even more veg: I’ve even made a spaghetti bolognese with 8 vegetables (not traditional but who says you have to stick to the rules)! We’re easily getting 10–15 portions of fruit and veg every day now (crazy ik).

I also really appreciate that the fruits & veggies are not packed in hard plastic! it's an amazing bonus I love; I used to avoid the salads in supermarkets because of the 'wet/sweaty' plastic bags that used give the greens a weird texture. Now I can finally enjoy a salad as Riverford packaging does not cause that - especially the spinach package I came across once (super soft and the spinach was all DRY!)

So pleased to be supporting and benefiting from Riverford Organic Farmers. Delicious organic food that’s environmentally friendly - what’s not to love?! The app is great and makes the whole process super-easy. Highly recommend.

Fresh food, Very professional, Delivery drivers arrive on time.

Top quality produce and very tasty. Today I made one of the recipes from their Batch Cook Box - Moroccan spiced sweet potato, roasted tomato and bean soup. All I can say is that it is absolutely delicious and I shall definitely be making it again. I am so impressed that I thought I would leave a review and highly recommend it to everyone. Well done Riverford. You have excelled yourself. Thank you. 🙂

Originally we just tried a few products and vegetables, but now we are coming around to appreciate the superior service and quality of everything we have tried. The rye bread was so wholesome and moist plus it stayed fresh all week. Last week my wife tried the cottage cheese and I tried the Kohlrabi both excellent and now both a favourite.

Having a box of fresh usable veg once a week that lasts so you use every last bit it a total game changer. Delicious, nutritious, colourful and sustainable. What more could you want... I love the recipe cards that are included in the box..... give it go. You won't regret it!!

Riverford is very hit or miss, to be honest. I’ve had over 20 deliveries so far, and to be fair, I never know whether everything will be good this time or not. Last time for example, I paid £3.50 for two small grapefruit which arrived quite tired, and one of them became mouldy after 48 hours. I’ve also had issues before when part of my order wasn’t included, or I got bad quality items. I mean if you increase the prices, maybe it’s also time to increase your quality. I’m not going to lie, most of the orders I’ve achieved have been excellent. And they are always happy to refund me for the missing items or spoilt items. But I just wish that I didn’t have to guess whether my order will be good and high-quality this time or whether I will have to write to the customer support again.

Our order arrives at the same time each week, and is delivered with courtesy and a smile. I love unpacking my boxes and I feel really grateful to have the opportunity to eat such delicious vegetables.
I am pleased that the packaging can either be recycled or composted, but I find that the compostable bags do not decompose quickly enough, but still glad that they will break down in the normal rubbish collection.
