Houston was amazing; they answered all my questions and helped me set up my server for my stream so I could have the best experience. He went above and beyond.

Akliz has been the very first server host I have used and, by far, has never let me down. The team is amazing, real fast, and responsive. I've never had to wait longer than 5 minutes for someone to get to me.

Super reliable, trustworthy, and amazing customer service!
I'm usually skeptical when it comes to external server hosting, because a lot of services can either make their service really obscure in how the user engages with it. Or in some cases, they make it difficult to access the payment plan information you've given to make it harder to cancel reoccurring payments.
However, I'm pleased to write that Akliz is easily the best service I've ever used. It's simple and easy to use, and offers easy access to my plan and payment information. As someone who's overly cautious with where I give payment info, it's super relieving to be able to trust services like this.
Bare in mind, I was playing Java Minecraft for all of my servers and was playing with no more than 3-4 players at any time, and it was perfectly smooth for all of us.
This is also my first experience with a hosting service that allows simple (website integrated) installation of Minecraft modpacks with CurseForge, and it's easily my favorite part of this service. Akliz supports hundreds of modpacks for Minecraft alone, allowing you to pick which version of the modpack you want to play, and players can easily connect to it through their modded client when also playing CurseForge. It let us spend less time organizing mods and more time playing, which has reignited our inspiration to play!

A side note: As I mentioned earlier, I'm super cautious about subscription services. When I got my first month of the hero plan, I immediately closed my plan so I could just use the service for a month without being charged again once my month was done.
However, once that month ended, I neglected to reactivate it. Once your plan ends, your servers (and the worlds in them) are deleted. Mind you, there is a cheaper plan ($5/month) which will retain your server and world info on your account, but I didn't think to choose this at the time. So my world was gone, much to the dismay of my group.
Fortunately, I was able to contact support with their online messaging service. I contacted them that evening, and the next morning I was immediately in contact with a human being who instantly replied to all of my follow up responses, and attended to my concerns directly. Since it was so soon after my plan had ended, we were able to get my MC server into a recoverable state! They were super chill about everything, and they've earned my recommendation easily.

Best support team and smoothest servers ever. I've used about 6 or 7 server hosts and Akliz beats the rest by a mile. The staff are very knowledgeable and never leave you hanging. Response times are quick. Natalie was the first staff I met years ago and spent a long time teaching me how to pregen and upload files manually. You will also run into Ben, Houston and Calum. I've made servers for several communities and they've all turned out amazing.

Generally a good product for a good price. The big difference is made by the people behind the screen, they are so willing to help (and teach) to make sure you have all the tools you need to run a server successfully. 10 out of 10 would advice

By far the best customer service that is available for hosting providers. Even before I was a customer, they were helping me with a server that was hosted by a competitor. Did that stop them from being helpful and showing me ways to improve my server's performance absolutely not!! That is why I switched to them and from that day forward they have gone above and beyond the call for customer service. Also, there servers are very stable and run much better than any of the previous hosts I have used. Top tier here!!!

Honestly I have tried lots of different hosting services for minecraft- and Akliz has about the same price as others- but has by far the best customer service. This is extremely important because if you are playing games with friends you want the server to be back up and running as fast as possible- and no other hosting service seems to match the speed of help you get here! Good if you are new to hosting servers and want to host a basic modpack and if you want to know how to make a custom one they will help you way more than they should!! Happy to give 5 stars its by far the best service out there!

Incredible customer service! My credit card expired and I didn't notice until days after the "delete your server" deadline. When I reactivated my account, my data was missing. Houston and the technical wizards behind the scenes were able to cancel/reverse the delete job and make my servers available again

WONDERFUL customer service! I had been an idiot and forgot to cancel my last charge.. So I used their chat function and asked what I could do and they let me get a refund due to their 7 day money back guarantee that I didnt know about!

The service itself was very easy to use as someone like myself that have never made my own server before! The website gave you tools and help how to do what, and it was very easy!
