Outstanding customer service!

I bought Tung Sol 6V6 GT Platinum Matched Duet Tubes here. When first removed them from amp the orientation key broke off of one. Contacted customer service and the shipped a replacement set that day, received two days later.

I am a long time AMS customer and I appreciate that they are fairly close in my hometown of Reno, although I have lived in California for a long time now. Recently, I was taken by an expensive but extraordinary pedal called a Retrovibe and tried to purchase the pedal through AMS three times and three times the system locked me out and would not let me complete the sale. Then I received several emails from AMS, why I did not complete the sale. Finally I bought the $500 pedal with another vendor, but had originally wanted to give the business to AMS. Had a bad experience with Jason.E he charged my card 11 transactions for an order that was back in 2023 I was discharged of all my debts in January 2026 after filing bankruptcy and being discharged of all debts. I sent him my bankruptcy case number that showed I was discharged of all debts he didn’t care. My Credit card is currently disputing it says this is fraudulent on there end.

I have used American musical supply for years I guess I have "rockstar status" I have had to return insturments in the past and have always had problems. So I paid off entire account. Left and swore to never return. I was foolish this last month and said hey I give them another try. Ordered a bass and no surprise it showed up beat up. Have pictures to show it. To bad it looks like I can not post here. long story short....DO NOT USE A.M.S!!!

I am very disappointed with American Musical. I’ve been waiting nearly two weeks for a keyboard; there was a shipping label issue with FedEx, and they aren't resolving it. Their customer support is terrible—I’ve sent numerous emails, but the responses are slow and offer no solution.

I have already done everything I was asked to do. Your company representative is not following up on my emails. I suggested switching to a different product, and he agreed. Once we reached an agreement, I asked him when the product would be shipped and when I could expect to receive it, but he stopped responding and has left my emails unanswered.

This is the second time I have ordered a product based on being told by your representative that it was in stock. If this situation continues and I still do not receive a clear response, I will publish the email correspondence so that others can see exactly how this situation has been handled.

Excellent company for purchasing musical equipment! The customer service was outstanding, knowledgeable, and very helpful throughout the entire process. They made it easy to find exactly what I needed, and the shipping was fast and reliable. Great products, great service, and a smooth experience from beginning to end. I’ll definitely be ordering more gear from them in the future. Highly recommended!

Great customer service! Great products. However, they use fedex. FedEx is terrible!! Half ass drivers that rescheduled deliveries if its past 5pm. Is it so hard for people to do their jobs!

I am very disappointed with my experience with American Musical Supply.

I placed an order, but it was canceled. I contacted customer service to find out why, and all I was told was that they couldn't match my information with my address. I asked several times what information didn't match and what I could do to resolve the issue, but no one could give me a specific answer.

Instead, I kept receiving the same generic response over and over again. Without knowing what the actual problem is, it's impossible to fix it.

I expected much better customer service. If a customer's order is canceled, they deserve a clear explanation and guidance on how to resolve the issue—not the same scripted response repeated multiple times.

Unfortunately, this was a very frustrating experience, and I won't be shopping here again.

Superb customer service. Very responsive and professional. Great prices as well. Items arrived very quickly, well packaged and in perfect condition. These folks were great to work with. I'll definitely buy from them again in the future!
