Do Not Bother with this Company
I enrolled in this program when I moved into my first apartment after one of Arcadia’s representatives went door‑to‑door offering what sounded like a “too good to be true” discount on my energy bill. I was told I would pay Arcadia instead of my utility provider, and at the time, that convenience was a major selling point. For the first year, everything worked as promised — but that changed over the next three years.
Arcadia’s system began showing that I wasn’t being charged for my energy usage, even though I was still paying my utility provider directly. Then, without warning, I received a large charge from Arcadia that didn’t make sense.
When I reached out for help, it took an unreasonably long time to get a response. I explained the situation, and they assured me they would follow up with a resolution. They never contacted me again, and the unexplained charges continued to accumulate until they eventually closed my account.
I emailed them again asking for clarification. They responded, but shifted the blame to their solar farm and my utility provider, claiming credits were not being sent. When I followed up, they redirected me to Perch Energy, who had no record of my account and could not resolve anything either. Today, after calling again, I was sent back to Arcadia, who still could not provide clear answers. When I asked whether additional charges would continue after paying my balance in full, they couldn’t even confirm that.
I strongly urge others not to fall for this company’s promises. This has been one of the most frustrating and regrettable experiences I’ve dealt with in a long time — especially during these hard times.

I have called, emailed, or "chat botted" every day for over a week and I get the same response, that someone will get back me within 48 hours but they never do. One rep even lied and told me they had paid my CMP bill and that it would be showing up on my account in a day or two. VERY Angry.

If I could give a zero I would nothing but the biggest scam artist I've ever come across. After deactivating the account for multiple misrepresentations they still have my credit card on file refusing to release it because they're saying that I continually owe for back payments when everything is paid beware beware beware beware do not do not do not sign up with these scammers
Getting overcharged, possibly for years. Absolute scam
I recently moved out of my co-op and am getting ready to sell it. All heat and appliances have been off. Somehow, I got hit for an electric bill that cost well over $200. When I brought the impossibly of this up, I was told that there was no error and I should contact ConEd for a breakdown of the bill. I did that and they said that I only owed about $54 for that pay period and all of it was covered by a credit, because it's now obvious that this company has been overcharging me for years. While waiting forever for their "concerned team" (their customer service struggles with English, I suppose, they hit me with that entire charge. I'm livid and am considering legal action.

We termed our contract on January 6, and they took an unauthorized withdrawal from our checking account on March 9. Avoid the headache - don't do it.
This is not a legitimate business
This is not a legitimate business. It works by scamming old people. We had some fast talking ape come to our door and demand to see our power bill. He claimed he was working "with dominion" (actual power company). When I got suspicious he started having a meltdown.

Once Decent, Now Another Middleman Trying to Take Your Money
Arcadia seemed decent when they were doing the credit/coupon thing and I wasn't getting weird, inexplicable bills from both them and my power provider. I've been trying to cancel with them and they insist I agreed to a service that could take up to 90 days to cancel, but that's not written in ANYTHING.
Gave them business for EIGHT YEARS and the last four have been me getting slowly annoyed and fed up only to now have them lying to me as I'm trying to just leave them. They sent me the documents I signed, and nowhere in them do they say anything about a cancellation period of any length, let alone 90 days.
They're blaming communication with the solar farm but also won't give me the information I need to contact them directly.

A good way to take personal responsibility for clean energy. My bill is way too high but I know it’s not their fault as a provider.

Over the first 12 months, all was well. My electric bills lined up with Arcadia's debits to my checking account. Then, for the next 11 months, they started over-debiting to the tune of 5 to 10 to 12 times the actual bill! Total over charge: $1019. I canceled in November 2025 and it took them until this month to complete the cancellation. And still the December charge was $24 over the electric bill! Unbelievable!

However, as the years have passed, the company seems to have lost its capacity to run effectively. The brain doesn't know what the arms are doing and customer service has fallen to the wayside. After repeated bungling of utility bills last Fall and zero communication from Arcadia, I have decided to cancel my account that I had for 12 years. Too bad. I wish I had a better review to write.
Terrible at Listening
Arcadia claims that they will pay your entire bill and charge you the appropriate amount. What actually happens is that they charge you for the electricity they provide and nothing else. This will leave you managing 2 separate electric bills.
I have had multiple representatives claim that they would change the settings of my account to pay the full bill and charge me appropriately, but this never happened and now I owe a late fee to Pepco.
NEVER use their services if you want to have peace of mind and an easy time paying your bills
