I never write bad reviews, but in this case I just have to. I knew that the delivery wouldn’t be speedy, I was under the impression that when I ordered it on the 21st July, that it would arrive on the 24th of August. It didn’t get to me until the 2nd of September. On top of this, the cabinet I ordered is really poor quality - this won’t last more than a year without being thrown out. The faux wood is already peeling just from (carefully) assembling the thing. It’s quite sturdy once assembled but over all the wood effect material they use (some sort of vinyl?) isn’t good at all. Chipping and peeling from assembly is the last thing you’d expect from a £259 cabinet.

I will say that the instructions were pretty clear to follow, although I don’t particularly struggle with flat packs so that’s subjective to the individual I suppose.

Bearing in mind the cost of the thing, it really isn’t worth that kind of money. I’m very disappointed.

The product itself is really poor. The assembly instructions are awful and do not make it clear. the bed I've bought isn't level on the floor.

It came without all the screws required to assemble.

The screws it did come with were the wrong size so you couldn't attach the feet to the bed (the heads just fell through the hole as they weren't wide enough).

Only positive is that when I reached out to their customer service (through B&Qs website) I did get a really quick response and they sent me the missing screws within 48hrs.

Still a poor quality product and wouldn't buy again.

Should have read the reviews before ordering with them.
Wardrobe bought 11 of May and still no sings of delivery 😂 ad said will be with you by 20th working day.
Wasted my weeks on them

I found the lads really great. Kept me informed about the delivery, texting me when they are nearby. Delivered the unit straight to my door. They put it exactly where I asked. Even had time to pet my dog. Id use them again

lovely to deal with from start to finish.
Chloe the customer service rep was amazing and more than happy to help.
Delivery team were equally great from nowhere near my area but with decent directions to my door found me without even having to check in.

I wish I had read these reviews before I purchased a wardrobe from them (through B&Q). The wardrobe wasn’t cheap and is now bowed and the doors don’t shut properly and have come off their hinges. Waste of money do not buy from them. I will post photos if you want to dispute my review. Taking this up with B&Q.

Terrible service, waited 7 weeks for an order, 4 weeks received 1 of 3 items, 3 weeks later received email from B and Q to say seller has dispatched remainder of order. No correspondence from Arte-n furniture, therefore contacted them, and they have stated no items ordered, but payment taken? Absolute joke of a company!!

Great wardrobe and lovely delivery drivers, would use again!

Awful company, avoid unless you want to be ripped off. Item finally arrived after 6 weeks, damaged and not fit for purpose. I responded to an email I received wanting me to review on google reviews. I explained I was not happy to them, rather than going straight to putting a negative review online. What I got in return was a rude reponse, saying I should have noticed the defects when it was delivered (it was boxed up) and because it is assembled (it is a single shelf?) it cannot be returned. This is not in line with laws and selling regulations. They sell you a shoddy item and try and act above the law when you want to return it. A series of passive-aggressive emails followed, totally ruining my day. Shame on B&Q for allowing these cowboys to sell via your website.

Terrible company, do NOT use,

I ordered a TV media unit late December, now 8 plus week later it still has not arrived, when I call them to ask when i could expect it, they just say there are no deliveries in my area so they can not give me a date.

Ordered through B&Q and unfortunately this came from a third-party seller who should not be on their platform. The product quality is awful, very cheap materials, and a part broke during normal assembly, which should never happen with a properly made item. It does not match how it was presented online.

When I contacted them, they refused a refund or return. The only “solution” offered was to send a replacement part — while acting like they were doing me a favour, and I’d have to wait another 3 weeks. That’s not a real resolution when the product itself is poor quality.

Looking at other reviews, this seems to be a pattern. This seller reflects badly on B&Q. Avoid if you don’t want the hassle

What a shocking company to deal with, haven’t even received our bunk beds. No attempted deliveries, a text message at 5pm on a Friday stating they wanted to deliver at 6am the following day. Which we refused, they are now claiming we must pay them to deliver our items.

Very swift process with information at every stage. Quick turnaround by the customer sevive team and delivery staff incredible helpful and professional. Would highly recommend.

Good product. good design, assembly instructions could be improved. delivery arrived in agreed timeframe. overall good value for money.

Absolutely shocking service. I ordered a sideboard on 13 Nov 2025. The B&Q website clearly stated it could be delivered by Christmas. Instead, I got a message from the third-party seller saying it would be delayed until late Jan / early Feb — and their idea of compensation was a measly £15 refund out of the £199 I paid!

As if that wasn’t bad enough, on 14 Jan I received yet another message saying the delivery would be delayed again, this time with no actual estimated date at all. This is completely unacceptable — false advertising, poor communication, and terrible customer service. Do not order from this seller.

Described as 54cm depth arrived only 38cm. Would never buy again

This company were so easy to deal with. Everything made simple and straightforward.
Delivery was on schedule. Drivers were polite and helpful in bringing my package into the house.
I absolutely lovely my TV unit. Excellent quality and good value at the price, and looks great in my room.
I would have no qualms in dealing with Arte-n in the future and would recommend them to friends.

Awful wardrobe, heavy but not strong. Is already wabbling and can't be moved due to the weight. I so much regret it

Really pleased with the furniture we purchased. Not the easiest to put together,but hubby is a Mr Fix it
Once assembled they look great.
