Filled up and paid in full for fuel at Asda Express in Pontyates. Then 2 weeks later get a letter from Vars ANPR saying I had driven off and not paid for a smaller amount of fuel which I now am being asked to pay plus a £35 fine! Visited store to resolve and they couldn’t help. Left message for Area Manager to call me but astonishingly this has not happened? Asda Head Office also unable to help and Vars ANPR unresponsive. All this despite providing clear proof of payment for fuel I purchased. Have now written to ASDA CEO Allan Leighton to see if he will help resolve for me? Totally unacceptable service experience will result in me never buying anything at ASDA ever again.

Went into that Asda garage this evening to buy some beverages scan them then was told that I wasn’t being served by Chris the employee that works there and told to leave didn’t say anything untoward then was told to f@!k off and get out the shop this is unacceptable behaviour and don’t expect anyone to feel this uncomfortable. I went to their unmanned petrol station tapped my bank card which had money in my account and gets declined as I need fuel I tap my credit card and fill up check my bank account that same saturday evening and find Asda have taken £94 out of my account asked for the transaction to be cancelled and refunded to my account and all asda say is it takes up to 5 working days if a transaction gets declined even though enough money was in the account then no money should be taken their actions and processes have left me out of pocket I will not be using asda stores or george as well as fuel stations again 72 hours later and still no money returned to my bank account bunch of crooks

Possibly the worst customer service I’ve ever received.
After driving to a meeting this morning, I stopped at this petrol station for a coffee, as I have many times before. I walked in, said hello to the young man at the counter, and selected a large coffee. When the cup came out only half full, I politely explained the issue. His response was a grunt and “try again.”

I did, with the same result. I explained the problem again, but this time he completely ignored me and stared out the window, showing zero interest or willingness to help. No response at all.

This level of service is unacceptable. The young lad clearly needs additional customer service training.

Disgusting ! Since Asda took over this place is a disgrace. I have never seen a more disgusting forecourt ! The bin area is strewn with litter and has been for weeks - the hand held car was booth is so horrendous and filled with litter that I didn’t even clean my car !! And I had to take my shoes off to get back into my car or the petrol spilt by previous customers would have stunk my car out !! No doubt this won’t be read by the bosses - but it needs sorting and the manager should have more pride in how the place looks !! Absolutely filthy

Both my son and husband got petrol. They took the money for the fuel the £99 fir a good laugh! 5 days on, no way to contact Asda. Never again! My kid is 23 and can't afford £99. Bills came out. Poor kids overdrawn!

Absolute joke put £10.07 of petrol in on the 10th Nov they took £37.81 because that's all I had in there on the 12th Nov they took £10.07 out of my account for the petrol they didn't take it out of the pending money and put the rest back,5 days later still waiting rung them and was told I have to wait 7-10 days asda could easily cancel the pending payment but are choosing not to obviously they haven't heard of cost of living crisis where people can afford to wait days for there money back IT'S A DISGRACE

Husband lifted wrong nozzle, replaced it and cancelled transaction before lifting correct nozzle and taking petrol.
Asda withheld £99 from my account for 7 days just for lifting wrong nozzle, after 2 phonecalls each time being told it was in the hands of management who conveniently couldn't be contacted by phone only email. Absolutely shocking

The Asda filling station has disgusting toilets, not cleaned for possibly weeks. The only toilet paper was on the floor soaked in filth. The staff said they didn't know. Unbelievable! Before Asda bought it the filling station and its shop were clean and well maintained. It is now better avoided.

Most of what I want to say has been said just one serious addition is :- Every time I use Asda the meter on the pump is up to between 30 and 40 pence before even one drop of fuel comes from the nozzle so today I put it to the test and took a receipt . I took careful notice of exactly how much fuel I put in on my Vespa . Then later in the day went to an independent garage and put in precisley the same amount of fuel .
Note the price per litre was the same and at the independent garage it was 42p cheaper . I feel like they’ve been robbing for years , I will never go near the shop or petrol pumps of Asda again . They don’t even deserve one star .

I have recently started ordering my grocery delivery online. However, out of 6 orders, my ASDApriceguarantee e-vouchers have not automatically been credited to my account. The first two they eventually credited which where valued at around £9.50, however, I now have the past 4 outstanding which actually amounts to roughly £16. I have contacted them and it takes 28 days to look into. This is disgusting if I go to the Shop I can check and print my voucher the next day. I have complained but they just said let us investigate. I wonder how many people don't check themselves if they are due money back and are none the wiser when there are no E-vouchers sat on their account. Not only are ASDA overcharging us they re quids in. Something needs doing about it.

Needs to improve I never get to use my vouchers because I shop by monthly which by then vouchers have expired there needs to be a time extension put on my account

You lose out with ASDA. I shop online and claim the price guarantee when I can. I've received the voucher online but on my next shop it can't be used. I complained they said it was a known problem. I complained again and asked for a refund. They are now ignoring me, so the price guarantee is worthless and i wonder if I should check if this is legal - hasn't a contract been made and broken?

I do at least 2 orders a week on line and am now being told you cannot take advantage of the Asda price guarantee more that 10 times in a calendar month.

Asda price guarantee, what a joke! Since I started using the self check out most of the things on offer when I scan the items are different to the shelf price therefore no offer. I called them over time after time and they make me wait to check the price to see if I'm lying and they always return and apologise. One of the staff members laughed and said "I wonder how many other people we have ripped off today!"
This happened to me again today with Item showing offer of £1 and when I got to the till , it was £1.50!
I just told them, to put them back as i'm sick of asda ripping me off with fake offers.
she said nothing and walked away.
What makes me so angry is if I had not started using the self checkout service I would have never noticed that the items I bought on offer were not on offer at all.

I shop at ASDA anyway so if they want to give me cash back on my shopping bill then bring it on.

Visit the website and enter a few details from your receipt, if your shopping wasn't 10% cheaper then their rivals then you get a voucher for the difference. It's that simple.
