Had Affinity seven law arranged for me by mortgage broker, fantastic service from start to finish. Dealt with Jack via email through the whole moving process , kept us up to date, and if we asked a question always responded straight away, even on a bank holiday, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company to anyone, thank you for making moving so easy.

Mr Luke Hassett did not reply the email and phone call. He worked as seller's solicitor for my property. Since he picked up the case without answering the requests from the buyer’s solicitor, estate agent and me, the sale process wasted nearly three months without nothing done. After I found that he replied the buyer’s solicitors and me with incorrect information, I requested an complaint form from ASL, the Waqar Khan, Head & Director of Conveyancing contacted me that Luke left ASL, Waqar could take over this issue in May 2026.
After two weeks, I sent an email to request update information from Waqar on 8th June 2026, no reply from him. I tried to send the second request email about the update on 9th June, no reply again. It was unable to contact Waqar by phone, so I tried to contact ASL receptionist on 9th June, the receptionist told me that Waqar worked from home, she could pass my request to him.
On 10th June, I have not got any response from Waqar or receptionist, then I called ASL office and told the receptionist about Waqar Khan did not reply me as customer. After I said that why Waqar couldn't not reply the customer. Could she contact Waqar Khan about this issue, please?

Then Waqar contacted me that I contacted him too much. He had look my case but no response from the buyer's solicitor.

What was the profession solicitor work alike him! He did not reply any emails and just said that the customer kept sending him email or calling him.

It is unbelievable what he was working in ASL.

Waqar and Luke both do not like to reply the email requests from the estate agent, buyer’s solicitor and me.

I only sent an email to request the update information ten days after Waqar taking my case. On Tuesday, I sent another email to request the update, then no reply again. I only received an email from Waqar to say I kept sending him email on Wednesday. It was what I got from him. If ASL want to know more the details, ASL can check Waqar and Luke email and phone record. I feel very upset and disappointed to have this experience with them.

I had a very bad experience with Affinity Seven Law Solicitors, especially with the injury claim department. My injury claim took nearly four years to settle, and throughout the process communication was extremely poor.
Even when offers were received from the insurance company, I was never properly informed about the exact amount offered. Instead of forwarding the original insurance company offer letter, they would send their own letter with the company logo and account details, which did not feel transparent or professional.
I constantly had to chase updates myself because nobody would keep me informed about the progress of the case. Overall, this was one of the worst experiences I have had with solicitors, and I would not recommend them for injury claims.

My experience with this conveyancing firm as a seller has been extremely disappointing. We are now more than 5 months into the process and still have not completed, despite this being a small chain with a vacant property at the end.

Communication throughout has been consistently poor. Emails and calls often go unanswered, updates are rarely proactive, and myself, my solicitor and my buyer has spent far too much time chasing for basic information. Delays have become the norm, with little sense of urgency or ownership from the firm.

The lack of cover during staff absences has been particularly concerning. Whenever the assigned solicitor was unavailable, progress appeared to stop entirely because nobody else seemed familiar with the case or able to move matters forward properly.

The situation became so frustrating that a formal complaint was submitted by my solicitor, yet even that has not been acknowledged. That level of disregard says a lot about the firm’s approach to client service and accountability.

What is especially telling is that the buyer has shared many of the same frustrations regarding communication and delays, so these concerns are clearly not one-sided.

Overall, the process has been unnecessarily stressful and poorly managed from start to finish. I would not recommend this firm based on my experience.

I’ve used Affinity Seven Law Solicitors multiple times over the past year for auction property purchases, and the service has been excellent every time.

Auction deadlines are tight, but Jack has been outstanding—quick, responsive, and always on top of things. Communication has been clear throughout, which makes a huge difference in what can be a stressful process.

Everything has been handled efficiently and proactively from start to finish.
