I don’t normally leave reviews, but Andres at Autoglass Depot Kildare deserves one.

I had a chip in my windscreen and contacted him expecting I might need a replacement. Instead, Andreas took the time to explain the process and repaired it so well that the chip practically disappeared.

What stands out most is his professionalism and experience. You can tell straight away that you’re dealing with someone who has over 20 years of experience in the trade. Honest advice, excellent workmanship, and no unnecessary upselling.

I even contacted him over the weekend, and he still took the time to reply and answer my questions. He can also deal with the insurance side of things, saving you a lot of hassle.

Of course, Andres replaces windscreens too, but if you have a chip, do yourself and your wallet a favour and call him first. He might save you the cost of a replacement.

In Ireland we’re often quick to mention the bad experiences, so it’s only fair to highlight the good ones too. Andres is a true gentleman and someone I would happily recommend.

Customer service is terrible. time of response to completion beyond comprehension. ordered a windscreen through my insurance standard car no special order. Auto glass called me to book in the repair at the beginning of May. with an original date of 25th June. which I felt was unacceptable to wait almost 8 weeks, they then called me back with a date 10th June only If I could bring the car to them. I eventually accepted this under duress. so my appointment was made for 10th June 11am I arrived 15 minutes before 11. to be told they had no windscreen for me as it hadn't arrived on the truck from Dublin and it would need to be done on the next day. no apology for the delay no offer to drop or collect my car just basically deal with it. I left the car over night and told them I would be back the next day after 2pm. I received a phone call at 10,36 the next morning to say my car was ready and could I collect5 it. I told them I was in meetings in Wexford and would collect it after 2pm as already explained the day before. they said well we have nowhere to park your car so you need to collect it. As I had previously said I collected it after 2pm. I was given the car key and told don't jet wash or use a car wash for 24 hours. no apology for the inconvenience. only the fact I have windscreen cover on my policy I would run a mile from this company. the windscreen was fitted so no issue with workmanship otherwise It would be a zero star review

Andres was great. Got my chipped windscreen fixed straight away.

I’ve just had my windscreen replaced by Autoglass in Kildare. The team taking my call were genuinely excellent given my needs. Andreas who replaced the glass could not have been more helpful. A true gentleman and a credit to Autoglass.

The lad (Sean )was very professional done a great job was very pleased with his work and his communication down to detail thanks auto glass would fully recommend this company as the employee are so professional and top workers

Shite Hawks, Came in for a routine window replacement appointment was on a sunday they said they had no other appoitments for another week., didn't get seen until appointment was at 10am didnt get seen finished until after 1pm, waiting around for 3 hours
Technician used the electric window while the glass was still broke and before he removed the panel and broke the motor, i was in the Van when he did it. Then when i made a complaint they lied and said it was broken before hand. 150 quid wasted and and now i have to pay to get a new motor, I wouldnt mind if they gave me a refund or some compensation but to lie and say it was already broke is a Joke

Discovered a crack in my windscreen 24 hours after installation. Impact is underneath some sort of an insert that they levered the glass against. Apparently not their fault. “Must have been a stone”
Company has communication skills of a rock.
Didn’t bother replying to my emails for 3 weeks then when they finally did reply they had the cheek to tell me it was no good telling them 3 weeks after it happened and that I apparently hadn’t sent 2 prior emails.
0 accountability.
Refused photo evidence with time receipts.

Autoglass Cavan offers fantastic service and excellent workmanship from wonderful technicians. I've used them several times now, replacing both my front and rear windshields. They have a great work ethic, amazing quality materials, and very fast service. Special thanks to Michael and his wonderful team of professionals. The job was arranged in a matter of minutes and completed the same day. Truly, Autoglass Cavan is the best auto glass repair company in all of Ireland. My experience with Autoglass was genuinely awful.
The booking process itself was fine. Everything after that was not.
What should have been a routine rear window replacement turned into a six-week ordeal involving poor workmanship, damage to my car, and consistently poor communication.
The first installation was done incorrectly and resulted in damage to the vehicle, leaving me with a repair bill of €1,200.
The glass also had to be refitted because it was not installed properly the first time.
From the date of the original booking to finally getting my car back from the main dealer, the entire process took over six weeks to resolve.
What stood out most was the lack of accountability. Despite the damage caused and the inconvenience involved, there was no meaningful apology or gesture of goodwill at any stage.
This is the second bad experience I’ve had with Autoglass, and it will definitely be the last.
I would strongly recommend considering alternative providers.

Dropped my car in at the start of March to get a windscreen replaced.Got it back with the windscreen camera not working. They took it back a month later to fix it but still got it back not working even though they told us it was working fine.They then booked me in to a dealership to outsource the repairs.Dealship could not fix it after me doing a 5 and a half hour round trip for the pleasure.Its a Japanese import but I'm sure it's not the only import ever to have a busted windscreen.Plenty of phone calls too but never get a call back.Terrible customer service if it goes wrong.Still not fixed to this date.Being fobbed off to fix it meself I think.Experts in calibration I think not!!!

I had the misfortune of getting a cracked windscreen yesterday, I have windscreen cover so my insurance company AXA sent the details to Autoglass and told me I would get a call within 3hrs. I did get a prompt call but all the advise did was demand payment of my 25€ excess. Having made payment yesterday I have heard nothing. I have no idea when the screen will be repaired, this is disgusting customer service.

Augoglass Longford replaced my front windscreen yesterday at 7am. I was extremely pleased with the service. Just took an hour. Everything was put back on the new windscreen exactly as they were on the old one e.g service sticker, sat nav holder and a new disc holder left on the passenger seat. Staff were pleasant. Would highly recommend.

The booking system was good which is why I'm not leaving one star.
I booked Autoglass to replace a smashed rear windscreen on my elderly parents car.
They left glass everywhere leaving the back of the car and the boot unusable.
I complained,asking them to finish the job and included photos of the many tiny shards of glass, and just got the response that they do their best to clean up the glass as a "courtesy".
Buyer beware.

Waited over 1 hour and 50 minutes on the phone last night for someone to confirm a price they quoted.

That wait time is a joke.

Finally got a call back this morning regarding the quote but had to request a call back.

Easy booking system . Polite customer service when I realised I had a problem with the appointment I had booked. No hassle in changing original appointment. Very accommodating and friendly team.. Windscreen replaced took about 2 hours. So near the Square Tallaght so easy to go shop or grab a coffee.

I found Autoglass Cork excellent and they went out of their way to help me with an issue with the internal mirror

Can't say enough praise for Autoglas Sligo - sorted out the windscreen and did a great job. All seamless from excellent website interface to messaging along the way. Very happy with the service - will use again

This company is a joke. We are waiting for someone get back to us to schedule an appointment now for 3 weeks. When followed up we are told everytime someone will call back straight away and they never do
