I ordered 20 sleepers and was advised delivery would be within 7-10 days and it would be delivered to kerbside only.
On the day of delivery the driver called to advise he was on the way, I explained that I had not received a notification of delivery and was at work, I asked if it could be rearranged to the following day so there would be someone home. The driver offered to put my order in my back garden for me, when I arrived home they were all neatly stacked with room to get around them.
I was really pleased with the outstanding service provided by the driver.

Bought 30 railway sleepers, good quality, quick delivery and a really helpful delivery driver who put them exactly where I’d asked.

I had to wait in all one day for my fence panels,and I received a polite phone call to say they were not coming about four oclock, and my panels were delivered the next morning by an extremely polite and helpful man. Would have been five stars if not for the inconvenince.

Beyond the initial conformation email, I didn't receive any other word as to when my order would be delivered. And I was told 3-5 working days & it was actually more like 7-8.

So I chased them & was informed that my order (2 packs of 10 sleepers) would be palletised & taken off the lorry by crane. On the day of delivery, a small lorry turned up with no crane & the sleepers were just loose on the back so I had to unload them, one by one, by hand.

The sleepers were as described & at a decent price, but I found their customer service a bit lacking.

I have been using AVS havant for a few years now.

Over all happy and would recommend. Good quality products. Friendly and efficient delivery driver. Few items were missing, so called to arrange collection. Fast customer service. No contact regarding delivery day or time though, even when calling a head of delivery was specified.

Excellent service and goods. Only downside was no phone call to say when being delivered.

I found AVS to be very helpful. My only concern is that they do not provide delivery to W Hampshire thus requiring me to make other arrangements for some heavy timber material. Once in their yard they were again helpful with loading my car at no charge to me.
All in all a very satisfactory retailer.

Very helpful. The ordered was delivered earlier than initially advised .... A mix up in the order was rapidly sorted and new items dispatched. We were kept updated throughout.

Ordered a lot of fencing online order was accepted and paid for, only to go and pick up to be told most of it was out of stock. Online orders shouldn't accept payment if goods are not available.

After the recent storms, several of my fence panels blew down and decided to renew all the fence. AVS delivered the panels in less than a week and the quality of the panels is very good indeed. One small issue is I was out when the delivery turned up as I hadn’t been forewarned the delivery was about to occur. Fortunately my gardener was present who helped to unload the truck. Fence is up and looks very smart.
