Had great customer service from Thien at the Chiswick branch. Helped me finally sort out my bike gears, seat and helped me do a spot check on site. Really great experience.

Overall a poor experience of buying 2 identical Trek bikes through Balfe's Chiswick store. They messed up the original order so that when I went to collect the bikes, not all of the accessories had been fitted (pannier rack missing). This was sent to me later for me to fit but with the wrong bracket to fit to the seat post. Then I realised that one of the bikes has been fitted with mudguards that are too narrow for the 40mm tyres so the tyres rubs against the mudguard. I am still in the process of trying to get them to send me the correct sized mudguards but getting no repsonse to my emails.

It feels like this business places no value on the customer experience and although I did get a very small discount for the original order mess up, they have done nothing to acknowledge or address the latest issue with the mudguards.

Identified a problem in store , ordered the part and when it arrived next day, Simon in store v helpfully installed the part / changed the d post. Thanks again for your help

Crashed with my Trek Velocis Helmet and was lamenting a costly mistake when I remembered the Trek crash warranty. Thien was super helpful and did the whole claim for me and a few days later a brand new helmet was waiting. Great service and fast turn around. Thank yoi

Super helpful, informative and efficient

Popped in to ask for some advice on a stuck bolt.
The team resolved the issue and a couple of other slight issues I hadn’t noticed after having taken the bike apart / rebuilt it whilst travelling.

I went into Balfe's in Chiswick with a faulty bike. The problem was fixed so helpfully by a guy called Ben. The whole setup in the store was terrific. Thank you.

No hard sell. Once I’d made the purchase, the bike was brought into shop and built very quickly. Good communication throughout. They even threw in a free service on my other bike. Thanks especially to Ben.

I went in with what I thought was a knackered tyre, but turns out I put my inner tube in like an idiot. Simon was great and sorted me out free of charge so now I can cycle to uni. Brilliant service and company, would definitely recommend.

Great experience today (Sunday 4th May 2025) walking into the shop on Chiswick High Road. I was served by Mike, who was excellent - he took the time to help me understand options, educate me on different bike things and really went above and beyond in terms of customer service. Thank you!
