Google and Microsoft
Got an alert from Resolver to let these cowboys settle a google and microsoft claim. Got immediately bombarded with about six emails asking for a ridiculous amount of information some of which seems to be indicating i will be liable for a fee if i don't respond. I am a disabled person with a cognitive deficit and i am now having to hire another legal service to deal with "Barings Law". They are underhand, misleading and wholly dishonest. Stay away. Don't be tempted. You'll regret it.
In response: first Barings Law tried to threaten me via Trustpilot with defamation, then, when that did not work, they decided that they would complain that this review is not a genuine review, causing me to have to jump through several hoops and divulge personally identifiable information to Trustpilot. Very good. This is who they are: first, threaten defamation then accuse me of being a liar. This is who they are.

With regard to your emails, we require certain information such as the services you used and if you are aware of Google and Microsoft misusing your information. This helps us build a stronger case when we go forward with any court hearings. It is common for law firms to have a clause in agreements that state if you are uncooperative, you may be liable to a fee. This is because of the amount of work undertaken on your case, and without your assistance, we cannot progress and therefore resources will have been used.

These newsletters serve as an informal mass update for our clients to see what the firm has been working on, how all campaigns are progressing and the changes we are making to ensure our client needs come first. If you wish to opt-out of these newsletters, please let our agent know when you contact them. They will then pass this information on to the communications team to ensure you only continue receiving updates.
Car finance claims have been progressing slowly for all law firms across the country due to court hearings, appeals from lenders, input from regulators and the government, and more. We too share your frustration in this matter and we are now eagerly awaiting the FCA to release their proposed scheme.

I have been waiting over 2 years for my…
I have been waiting over 2 years for my claim to go through and I feel like it has been a waste of my time and energy. No updates are sent to me only emails regarding changes in government legislation. This seems like a scam as nobody has gotten back to me or provided me with any payout in over 2 years. I feel like I have shared important documents and my sensiitve data with you guys and got no help in return. Very disappointing!
Please can someone give me a realistic time frame or explain to me why this hasn't been settled yet?

Very poor - Avoid if you value your sanity.
Very poor. Clearly has taken way too much on than it can cope with. I was 'transferred' to this company, from JF Law (basically they bought the cases from the JF Law - which i wasn't happy about, but had little choice given the number of years i've already waited) anyway, they never contacted me at all. Instead i was bombarded with a number of digital documents to sign without any guidance. I emailed the sender, explaining I was not happy to sign it until it was explained to me. This was on the 03/12/2025 - It is now 08/02/2026 - There has been no response or further communication from Barings Law which in my opinion, for a Law Firm, is atrocious. I'd like to leave this company but have no idea what the implications of my case being 'sold' to them are. I am now left having to navigate this NIGHTMARE myself. These people are meant to be helping us with our disputes, instead, they are taking cases on a 'chicken factory' style and delivering a horrendous service. I have no doubt i'll receive a lovely copied and pasted response to tell me they are very busy, working hard, etc. - That is not problem, Barings Law. I will write to the SRA next week and raise a complaint.

Data Breach Case - Taking 2 years+ to conclude.
I have been waiting nearly 2 years on a data breach case that was transferred over from another law firm. I enquired and I was emailed by Jamila the same day explaining that the delay has been due to the change of director so I am hoping to get this case wrapped up as quickly as possible this year, now that I have been contacted directly and now that I am in the system.
