Not too impressed.
Only the 2nd time I've used Beerhunter, the first time, all the wrong beer was sent, was eventually sorted but silly error. This time, several days after ordering they called me to say they didn't have it all in stock (website should reflect stock level), so I had to wait best part of two weeks for order. Also it was quite a bit more expensive than a rival online beer merchant, so not too impressed so far. Post-Review: I received a reply to my initial review eventually that seemed genuine, but I have to way up their comments against Beerhunter's initial response to my review, which was for them to contact Trust Pilot and ask them to remove my review claiming it was in breach of Trust Pilots Advertising and Promotional policies, which it wasn't, fully demonstrated after Trust Pilot reviewed it again at my request and stated it did not actually breach their policies at all..!! My review was then published and I assume then, and only then, did Beerhunter feel they should detail an apologetic and professional response once it was public again. I wish companies would deal with customers in a far better way than this. The extra work and machinations needed to provide what I hoped would be constructive feedback to a company only dealt with twice has left me with a very poor impression of Beerhunter ethically. As a consequence, I will not use Beehunter again for any reason on principal and have downgraded my review even further.!!

We’re very sorry to hear that we’ve let you down on both of your orders. Receiving the wrong beers the first time and then waiting almost two weeks due to a stock issue is simply not the standard of service we aim to provide.
You’re absolutely right that our website should accurately reflect stock availability, and we understand how frustrating it must have been to only learn about the issue several days after ordering. We also appreciate your honest feedback regarding our pricing.

The proposed delivery was not made and no further explanation was forthcoming from the company.
Only after several e-mails and (finally) a telephone call was I promised a refund "within three to five days". The number I used was the third to be provided by Beerhunter - the other two were (a) wrong and (b) provided no facility for a voice message to be left
It remains to be sen whether the refund will be processed.
Also, Beerhunter seemed to be confused between the person who ordered the item (me) and the person to whom it would be delivered.
Altogether a poor service which neither of us will use (or should I say attempt to use) again.

A shining beacon amidst the internet fog!
Having found out that another major retailer (of mainly wine in their defence) had stopped stocking my favourite zero alcohol German beer, I was delighted to discover Beerhunter. From the first interaction, searching, ordering, follow-up communication, delivery etc the whole process was seamless. Packaging was very impressive and eco friendly, using recyclable materials and my beer arrived safely and promptly. The selection of beers that Beerhunter offer is great and I shall be going for a mixed selection next time! I cannot recommend Beerhunter enough. Thank you!

Made 6 orders in a year
Made 6 orders in a year. Joined Loyalty Club as well. On two occasions beer that ive ordered has not arrived on time having paid for a premium next day delivery and on both occasions had to ask where it was which seemed to prompt them into getting around to it.
What's worse is on both occasions they never had some of the beers id selected in stock.
The last time id cancelled the whole order as a I didn't want half of what Id ordered and id wanted it by a certain date. After 11 days without refund I got in touch again and it seems one guy forget to process the refund .
Absolutely the very worst online merchant ive ever used... the customer service isn't quite the worst ive used but thats only because tgere are other companies who will never be surpassed as useless customer service.
Ive asked them to cancel my membership and close my account but I seem to grt even more emails from them than before.
My advice, use someone else, someone who will stand by their delivery commitments and not sell you beer they dont have in stock.

You should never have had to chase delayed orders, discover items you’d purchased were unavailable, or contact us again because your refund hadn’t been processed. We’re also very sorry that you continued receiving emails after asking for your account to be closed.

We’ll be raising this with our courier, as delivering your parcel to a property 400 yards away is clearly not the level of service we expect.
