Great communication, efficient delivery

Lots of non-instrusive help in store.

Delivery on time and all went to plan
Only slight criticism was that the new mattress plastic protective cover was wet and muddy on one side. When I pointed it out to one of the delivery men, he just said it was where it had been laying in the van... Very little attempt to clean it off before carrying it up the stairs, where it was very close to the wall.
Otherwise, they took all the packaging away and explained things well.

Plenty of choice to look at and test. Wendy was lovely and got us all sorted.

We (my two adult daughters and I) visited your Ashford (Kent) branch yesterday to look at new beds for both of them. We were met by Jon who spent a fair amount of time listening to our requirements and offering advice on which beds and mattresses we might like. We decided on the mattresses and one bed frame and then said that we were going to explore our options at other places. Jon was professional and friendly and we felt under no pressure to buy there and then. We did look at a couple of places today, but returned to Bensons. Jon remembered us, our names and which items we had chosen. We changed one mattress for another, again guided by Jon, and bought the lot. We wouldn't have chosen Bensons over the next high street retailer, but this personal and professional service means that we would choose them again. Thank you.

Good choice of beds. Helpful staff who gave you space to consider. Bought our bed of choice. Waiting for delivery . Only downside delivery cost a bit high for what I consider is local.

The welcome we received entering your shop the helpfulness of the staff, guidance,recommendations,support given during our visit was amazing.

After months of choosing a new bed we decided on a Hypnos mattress and new electric ottoman and headboard. We were informed that Hypnos offer a free recycling of old bed/furniture because of their sustainability ethos. We checked and were informed it was free. After waiting 16 weeks the day of delivery finally arrived. We had spent £5300 on this bed and hoped the service would match the cost we paid. The delivery team arrived and were delighted we had moved our car off the driveway so they had more room. We removed all lampshades and pictures and dismantled our old bed. The delivery team had not been made aware of the removal of our old bed. It had not been added to the order. So they said they may not be able to remove it and deliver our new bed. They said they would speak to management. They rang and was told they weren’t given adequate time and they should leave and make another appt time in a few more week time. I was devastated after arranging work time around this and a medical appt. I rang the store in Ashford where we bought the bed. I spoke to John the manager who said we have the recycled old for new on our plan but Thomas who took our order forgot to add that to the order! So it was their fault. The delivery team leader spoke to the manager at the store who was very rude and disrespectful towards him. I could hear the conversation on the phone as he was next to me. The delivery team said they would take the old bed away and bring in and set up my new bed. He said it wasn’t our fault. But we had arranged so much and organised a lot for the delivery. He said it would put them behind by two hours but they would do it for me. I couldn’t thank them enough. The store did nothing to help. They caused so much stress and anxiety. It took all the excitement of the new bed arrival away. I am very unwell at the moment and this made things much worse for me. The delivery team were incredible and so professional and kind. I would not buy again from Bensons in Ashford. I have had apologies on my answer phone but no response to my emails I sent. And this questionnaire took over two weeks to arrive after me asking again and again for it.

And also gave us time on our own to discuss and make a decision. And answered all our questions. . Great customer service

Kaylee was super helpful and informative. She arranged everything perfectly for us and we were very impressed and felt looked after and professionally treated. We also felt our sofa bed was very competitively priced. Thank you
