Very clean and good service

My experience at Bensons-for-Beds was excellent 👌👏👍We were served by Andrew. What a wonderful person,very friendly,helpful,knowledgeable about his job.He helped us choose the right bed, mattress and pillows. I'm very grateful for the mattress and pillows inspection as I have a back problem. If is wasn't for his advice we would have chosen the wrong size of drawers at the sides of the bed which would have caused inconvenience in the future.

The person who served us ( Peter) was very knowledgeable, helpful and patient. We didn't feel under any pressure to rush our decision. We left the store feeling satisfied and happy. We also appreciate all the other services on offer such as bed assemble, removal and recycling off the old bed.

Bought £300 child’s bed and £200 mattress 8 months ago , and was told there was a 1 year guarantee..
When the bed was assembled by a friend with vast knowledge of assembling pre packaged goods he did think the chipboard panels were not very well made but it did seem sturdy as it was built in place ..
We have just decorated the room and as we had to move the bed away from the wall I had two men with experience in removing furniture lift it out of the way , as soon as the bed was lifted off the floor the whole underside including the supports broke away rendering the bed useless..
called bensons for beds emailed them the documents and pics of damage which clearly show how brittle the chipboard was all I got from them was that it was my fault for moving it and they we must of moved it wrong !!!. The two men who moved it both have done handling and lifting courses for there jobs and have moved hundreds of beds and even they said they have never seen this happen before …
Obviously bensons don’t care that we now don’t have a bed for our daughter to sleep on and don’t want to admit the product is poorly made so they now won’t do anything to help and say it’s our fault , since when do u buy a bed knowing your never going to be able to move it and if it hadn’t been against a wall this could of happened while my daughter was on the bed causing her injury !!!… never ever going to buy from them again after this nd now im getting in touch with trading standards as this is disgraceful

Very friendly and very helpful in helping me choose a bed. This is my third time at bensons wouldn't go anywhere else as staff has your best interest at heart.

We were served by Karen at your Team Valley store. She was one of the most nicest people I’ve ever come across. Her knowledge with all things beds is invaluable and a credit to your company. She took the time out to understand our needs and gave excellent advice.

I was given all the help and information I needed from Andrew and actually put an order for my new bed to be delivered next month.

Medium/firm mattress started softening over the past year, 3 years old....not a problem I thought. 5 years guarantee.
No such luck....independent engineer has guide from manufacturer about sag and settlement. It's not sagging but foam just doesn't support my weight the way it used to..benson state its just the way it is....sorry bensons, a poor response, why not just give a 1 year guarantee then you would know what your getting.
5 year guarantee covers manufacturing quality only. So if its the poor quality products that are used its tough luck

Neal at Bensons for Beds in Gateshead was fantastic. Me and my partner have never bought a bed before, and just wandered in looking a bit lost. Neil was friendly, and even though my knee jerk reaction when someone asks if youre okay is to respond "just looking thanks!", he said that wasn't a problem, and gave us some information about their mattress machine which helps figure out what firmness you prefer if we needed it, as well as a brief outline of the shop so we knew what was where. We used the machine and figured out what we were looking for, then Neal kindly left us to it for a look which I thought was great. He was very knowledgeable and took our needs into consideration, and we ended up buying one of the beds he recommended, and will have delivery in 3 weeks!
