Really great products and great service. We also needed extra tiles and extra samples and the team managed to source them for us quickly as we were in mid project.
Nice people to deal with too.

Brilliant customer service and stunning tiles

The samples weren't delivered, it says they were, and there is a photo, but I don't recognise what the photo is taken of, we've asked the neighbours they don't know anything and the courier isn't helping

Waited 9 weeks for tiles
I was super impressed with the design and quality but shocked by the installation guidelines and extra cost to buy the different cleaners and pre grouting and after care sealants. Regardless, we bought everything required and followed the installation instructions to the word (having paid £180 per sqm) I wanted these to look right.

However, I am disappointed with the final result. After spending hours point grouting with a dark grout (we have the ebony art deco style cement tile) after cleaning, the tiles darkened despite using the pre grouting protector all products recommended in the instructions.

The residue from the cleaner left marks despite removing excess immediately and post final sealant and drying, the tiles have lost their pigment and boldness, with patches of faded colour and residue lines.

What an absolute shame and huge cost for installation due to the many steps and leaving 24 hours between each stage to move onto the next one.

I couldn’t go through this process again to be left this disappointed with the final result in a brand new kitchen.

I think the instructions for installation should either state to steer clear of dark grout, or these tiles should be prepared before dispatch to protect from grouting and the solutions used in preparations.

Aside from this, the edges of the tiles were very rough and the dark grout has moved into the spaces and looks poorly finished. We sanded the edges as recommended but pretty much every tile was rough and jagged.

Really helpful customer service, responds immediately to requests and very willing to help.

A wonderful colorful jade tile with a white star sample arrived and absolutely thrilled me.

I then spoke to super helpful Millie who answered all of my questions, some of them quite technical i.e cement versus porcelain. I felt I could ask her anything, so easy to talk to. A very personal service thank you Millie.

My problem is I don't have a lot of time to wait for these exquisite tiles to be made (in Spain and UK) and these tiles are completely handmade, so justifiably, take 6 to 8 weeks.

Ella was so helpful and patient. My order wasn’t the biggest but I was treated with just as much importance as any other customer. We will certainly be using Bert and May for all our future projects. Thank you for Ella for wonderful customer service.

I orderedc a tile sample from Bert and May by phone. The colleague I spoke to was extremely helpful. It was delivered two days later, very well wrapped in perfect condition.

Ordered samples. Arrived in good time. Helped to decide which ones were best suited for bathroom refurbishment. However think the pricing on the website needs to change. Prices quoted exclusive of vat and misleading as do not know full price until checkout. Decided to go elsewhere for tiles as a result.
