No air con in the main hall makes large classes very uncomfortable.
Despite many complaints and for a very long time now the Olympia centre, Belfast still has no air con in the main hall. It is where large classes do activities, and lots of times two large groups share the space. It makes it a very uncomfortable environment for our classes. The temperatures are very high and we have no circulation of air. This needs urgent attention.

Cancelation of classes 4 hours in…
Cancelation of classes 4 hours in advance just does not make any sense. Something urgent came up last minute and for that the App didn't let me cancel and got a £3 penalty for non attendance. Not bothering about the 3 quid, is just the policy is illogical.
The receptionist was really kind and approachable.

Drinking water and hygiene
Drinking water some day was excellent, some day was lacking and hygiene on cups and jugs as I noticed staff grabbed jug by putting hand on edge of the jug instead of using the handle. The jugs brought back with glasses. I drank good amount of water from there and consciously waiting on any symptoms of any kind. I got diarrhea that night and it last for few days! 🤒 I am scared to drink water from there now 😭.

Top to toe its a great leisure centre
Top to toe its a great leisure centre. I swim mostly and it's easy to park, easy to change and the pool is always spotless. Staff are lovely , helpful and efficient. It's my 'go to' place.

The use of mobile phones is prohibited…
The use of mobile phones is prohibited and yet people are sitting in the spa on their phones. Its hard to tell which cups are clean and which are dirty and the dispensers for shampoo and condition quite often don't work.

I am very sorry to hear of the above issues you experienced at the Olympia Leisure Centre Spa. Mobile phones should not be used in the Spa area due to privacy so if you see customers with the mobile phone you can bring this to the attention of the Spa staff and they will address this with the customers concerned.
I am very sorry to hear that the Spa soap and shampoo dispensers are usually empty when you attend. I will pass on your feedback to the attention of the Spa manager so this can be investigated and resolved for future visits.

Well run gym
I only recently joined better gym at Olympia Belfast. I don’t enjoy change but it has been a very pleasant experience. All the staff I have met at reception desk both in gym and spa areas ,at pool ,in gym and at classes have been very helpful and professional. I have been very comfortable with changing to Olympia.
Looking forward to getting fitter again and attending the different classes
