We are a repairing garage and we work with many warranty company's, bluechip warranty is by far the best warranty company we have worked with. Their response time is almost immediate, so we were able to complete customers repairs in a timely manner.

From a garage point of view.
We have to deal with ALOT of warranty companies being in the trade, I don't often leave reviews, but credit where credit is due, Bluechip are hands down the best & easiest warranty company we deal with. They are very fair with their policy & don't 'nit pick' over silly little things. If you are wanting to use a warranty company then from someone in the trade, I wouldn't recommend many, but Bluechip is one of the VERY few that I would.

Unfortunately I bought a car and the dealer offered us warranty with blue chip, we had an injector fail and called blue chip, they said take it to any local cat garage and they’d sort it out.. unfortunately I called at least ten local garages and none of them would work with blue chip due to past issues with paying or disputes over the work. This has left us very unhappy and out of pocket . Definitely do your research with warranty companies!

Fantastic company. When I brought the car it came with a warranty supplied by Bluechip and I genuinely thought it would not be worth the paper it was written on. How wrong was I!! I emailed them when I found a leaking front shock absorber and it was so simple. Quote obtained and sent in, work authorised the same day, invoice sent in once work complete and they paid me 3 days later. Amazing service. Thank you

Great cover at a reasonable price.
I bought a high mileage second hand car from a local dealer and bought the Bluechip warranty for £299. While a couple of things aren’t included due to the high mileage, these are made clear in the documentation. The car had a faulty alternator soon after purchase, and almost a year later, the starter motor failed. Both were covered by the warranty. I’m very pleased with the cover and quick response from the team on both occasions. Well worth it.

Superb service!
I bought a car with a Blue Chip warranty, and if I'm honest I wasn't holding out too much hope when I started to have issues with it after 2 months.
It is a Range Rover, and I know stuff doesn't come cheap, so was mentally preparing to get my new mortgage.
Blue Chip were far beyond my low expectations though! They were superb, and dealt with my repair (an electrical fault) quickly, courteously and in full, with no hassle or haggling.
I could use a good local garage that I knew and trusted, and so didn't have to worry about travelling miles to drop it off or collect it.
All my communication to and from Blue Chip was friendly, understanding and polite, and I can't rate them highly enough..
The warranty really was worth the paper it was written on, and a lot more.
Thanks for a great service and for getting my beloved Rangey back on my driveway and working as it should.

Recently had a fault with the air bag…
Recently had a fault with the air bag light flashing, went through the process of having it diagnosed, which I paid for, turns out it was the clock spring at fault.
Considering this is a major safety issue, the job was priced up and sent to bluechip, had a quick response, item not covered, what a surprise!
It seems that most items aren't covered, but when you take out the cover you are under the impression that you are covered for most things.
Big mistake, even if they are covered you will still not get the full amount.
Will not be using this company again, better off saving your money and paying for the repairs yourself.

I can confirm that you have opened two claims with us since you took ownership of the vehicle.
The first claim was for an air conditioning condenser. This claim was successful, and we covered the full liability that falls within the terms of the agreement. Additionally, the claim was authorised within an hour and a half of receiving the estimate.
The second claim was for an airbag fault, with your chosen repairer reporting that the clock spring needed replacement. Unfortunately, this component is not covered under your agreement.
Please note: The safety of the vehicle is the owner's responsibility.
As a company, we do not guarantee coverage for all types of failures or vehicle components. This agreement covers a sudden and unforeseen mechanical or electrical failure to a covered component as detailed in the Vehicle Repair Agreement Booklet and as specified in the level of cover indicated on the owner’s certificate.
This is a used car warranty, not a main dealer warranty.
We recommend that you read the terms of this agreement thoroughly to familiarise yourself with its features, benefits, definitions, exclusions, and customer requirements.

The staff were polite and understanding, I didn’t think the items I needed replacing would be covered as the car dealers had been unco-operative. But Blue chip told me to apply for the work and it was covered. Blue chip had amazing customer service and supportive, polite staff.

absolutely useless
absolutely useless, they only reimburse you more than half the money that you have spent on repairing your car. I paid £1400 for something which they said they covered and they only gave me £157 back towards it. Don’t waste your money as your better off going with another company or not having it at all! They are good in the sense of phone calls and very quick at getting back to you but it’s just the money side of things that I don’t think are fair

I have reviewed your agreement information and relevant claims. I can confirm that you have opened five claims with us since you took ownership of the vehicle. Two of the claims were closed due to no fault with the vehicle. One claim was closed because it pertained to brake pads, which are part of the general maintenance of the vehicle and, therefore, the owner's responsibility.
You have had two successful claims with a combined total of £744.08, including VAT. Therefore, claiming that you only received £157 is misleading and unfair, as we covered the full liability, which falls within the terms of the agreement.
Yes, there were other repairs included in your two successful claims; however, these were uncovered repairs and general maintenance of the vehicle.
The agreement liability was indicated on the authorisation certificates, and if repairs or components are not covered, the reason will also be indicated.
As a company, we do not guarantee coverage for every vehicle component or all necessary repairs. The covered components are listed in the Vehicle Repair Agreement Booklet, which corresponds to the specific level of coverage indicated on the owner’s certificate.
We recommend that you read the agreement terms thoroughly to familiarise yourself with its features, benefits, definitions, exclusions, and customer requirements.
Please note that this is a used car warranty, not a main dealer warranty. We can only cover the repair costs as detailed within the agreement terms provided to you.
