Mark Hickman was our salesman and was outstanding throughout the whole of the process explaining everything and answering any questions we had. The salesman Jacob was absolutely amazing, within a few minutes inquiring about a vehicle l saw on line ,l was on a text drive.
He did he's best to get me a good deal on the trade on on my previous vehicle.
After a few back and forwards to the managers office we agreed a deal .
The sale was explained to me , plus the handover was prefect, the car was immaculate and so easy ..
Thinking it was going to be stressful and long winded it was quick and professional.

We purchased a car 10 months ago, still under warranty with Tipton dealership.

Unfortunately, we broke down on Sunday 14th June, as we could not get our Kia into gear. We were taking our Grandson home so my wife and 5-year-old Grandson had to get a taxi while I waited for the recovery. Tipton dealership does not open on Sundays resulting us having to be towed back home.

We called Tipton Monday 15th June at 9 am, explained the situation, response was, I need to pay £90 for this to be checked if found under warranty I would be charged, but if wear and tear this would be chargeable. I was not impressed with the response, but explained I work full time, and have 4 am starts and need my vehicle back on the road, so please book in as a priority.

The response was, the earliest they could even inspect my vehicle was 29th June, I was speechless. I explained again that I was desperate, asked for the Manager to call me, but after chasing 3 times, was told there was nothing that could be done to get this looked at sooner. They were short staffed and the schedules were full. I suggested we take it to another dealership to get resolved, but was told this would void the warranty.

I asked them to look into their works schedule, as my vehicle was actually booked in to them Friday 26 th June for a full service and MOT, could they not use this slot ? which we hope they will do.

To try to assist, we paid for our vehicle to be towed to the dealership Monday 15th June just in case they could fit an inspection in earlier, we have not heard from them since.

Currently having to get a taxi to and from work until this is resolved as no courtesy car can be offered until my vehicle has been inspected.

Communication is very poor, we have had no more phone calls from them to update us, very poor customer service where there are warranty issues.

My concerns were not addressed. It felt like my business was not valued at all, and basic expectations were not met.

A great dealership, the staff were helpful and friendly and offered exceptional value for money.

Multiple issues but the key issue was the car, that was supposed to be an Approved Used premium car, broke down with brakes and turbo failing on a motorway just over the 6 months legal contract timeframe by a few weeks. It put lives at risk. It needed a complete new engine, turbos, and brake system. So not a single 'random' component failure covered by a warranty but a failure due to a systematic issue affecting multiple key components. Brindley initially seemed supportive but when they realised the extent of the issues they went down the legal route where it's still lingering. The diesel car actually didn't have a full service history at all so wasn't 'Approved', had missed its previous service interval with a main dealer and then had a service with zero details from a small back-street operator. The oil is suspected of not having been changed in years and was like sludge. It had 50k miles on the clock at the time of purchase and 60k when it was an effective write-off.

I enquired about a new Xpeng G6 Performance in mid-April and was advised that it would be ready to collect late May / early June, which was many months ahead of what any other dealer I spoke to could achieve, but after assurances, I placed the order! My Sales contact was Jamie - he was excellent throughout keeping me informed on any changes on the systems and chasing Xpeng for more details and confirmation to meet their promised deadline. There were a few movements in the date (all within the quoted timescales) but he and his colleague Noel both pulled out all the stops enabling me to collect my new car on Saturday 7th June 2026. Unfortunately they could not do anything about the rain for the journey home, but everything else went exactly as planned and they both went above and beyond in making this happen - thank you!

I would certainly recommend them and the dealership to anyone looking for an Xpeng car. They have new and used and are very knowledgeable about them too. The cars are great too!

All questions were answered prior to purchasing the vehicle. Sales team were friendly and knowledgeable.

Price was agreed and the handover of the car was efficient a few days later
Price appeared to be fair.
