Great communication, I was called to confirm my cutlist and delivery time line.
The Oak I ordered appears to be milled well, it is very straight and square.

The timber was of perfect quality, very solidly packaged. I need 4 metres of timber and as expected it came as one 3m length and a shorter second piece. This was very generously cut so I had some unexpected spare length. Very happy with that

Once again, fantastic quality oak skirting and architrave to go with the many orders for flooring i`ve placed over the last 21 years. Speedy, great communications and they even replaced a piece i cut wrong. The off cuts section is also worth a visit if you are intending to make yourself a nice oak table at a fraction of the cost in the shops

we ordered 5" x 5" airdried oak beam, unfortunately the interior still had a high mostiure content and split very badly in our workshop. We did get a half refund as we could use half of the beam but we were unhappy with the quality. It was promoted as 5 year airdried but I don't think it was, doubtful we would order again

Really pleased I bought from here. Ordered various sizes and lengths of Planed All Round European Oak Timber. Spoke to friendly helpful staff before placing ordering to make sure could get the lengths I needed. Was easily able to add to the order a week later without causing any delay to delivery by just giving them a call. Arrived as planned, well packaged. Quality was excellent, and sizing was millimetre perfect. Excellent company all round.

The maple wood I bought is absolutely top quality. Beautiful grain, smooth and perfect in every way. It was delivered very well packaged and well protected all around.

I've ordered European white oak from BH a couple of times now for various furniture projects, and each time they've sent beautiful, straight and true timber which has been wrapped incredibly well for transport. Great after sales service and they also provided a bit more than requested, for the inevitable mistakes my end. Would highly recommend for premium hardwood in the UK.

I bought a few lengths of oak at a cost of just over £40 the cost for delivery was over £32. That's almost 75% of the goods price. I have bought from here before and the delivery and wood is good however the delivery charge is far too much for me. I think it's my last order for this reason.

Produced and delivered a beautiful oak beam. Plenty of character marks such as splits and cracks.

Delivered by a friendly chap in the company's own van - was given a delivery estimate ~1 week before delivery, and precise delivery time on the day.
