Helpful delivery driver and good product - have started fitting cladding and it looks lovely

We ordered oak skirting and oak doors.
Very pleased with all . The skirting is nicely oiled and looks great.

I was treated with respect, and everyone at BH is an expert. The help, guidance and advice I received throughout the purchasing process was wonderful. Delivery was memorable as the delivery driver knows his stuff inside out. Nothing was damaged and it was properly packaged.
Overall, BH is utterly excellent. Totally recommended.

Products are really good. Lead times are long but very good delivery service when they arrive.

I had a great experience with British Hardwoods from start to finish. The quality of the timber was outstanding and tightness of the grain was exceptional from American cherry to the black walnut even the Canadian maple. All the timber purchased were beautifully milled and exactly as described. Exceptional service and top-notch materials. Highly recommended!

The wood supplied had a lot of sap wood in the order. When paying for PAR one expects much less - even none.

The courier it used is DX Delivery . Tried to contact them on one day, using their hotline.
In the morning , I called and waited on music for 30 mins, but no response.
In the afternoon, I called again, and again waited on music for about 15 min, but still no response

Good products.
1st, actually talking to the company for clarifications. This helped substantially on how to order architrave.
2nd, Delivery was comfortably within the forecast.
3rd, The product met with requirements albeit the surface finish was still showing "plane" markings.

The oak skirting arrived very quickly indeed, the boards were of good length and the grain pattern between the boards is excellent. I will definitely be dealing with this company next time I need hardwood products.

After spending some time looking on the Internet, I finally found a door handle style that would suit my space .i only ordered one at first just to make sure they went back and ordered some more items from this company very fast delivery and the products are very well-made thank you

Not the most exciting thing to review...
Unless you're in the market for top-quality hardwood.
I've just returned from fitting the oak I'd ordered.
I looks superb - there's no other word for it.
The client is delighted, too.
One of the best things about ordering from British Hardwoods, is the quality of their packaging.
TWO layers of corner-protecting cardboard (which is incredibly strong!) and a corresponding number of layers of plastic film. to keep everything in tip-top condition.
Their prices, too, are so, so much keener than some high-street stores (one in particular is charging £58 for an 'L'-shaped piece of pine?!)
They also know how to correctly store their timber, so you don't have the pain of searching through countless pieces, trying to find something that's 'almost' straight.

Just the name, 'British Hardwoods', says it all, really.

I bought about 30 square metres of oak floorboards, plus ancillaries (scotias, doorway transition thingies, etc) from British Hardwoods. The people were all friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, the products were excellent and the prices were fair. I'd use them again and I do recommend them.

My husband and I purchased the Engineered Classic Grade Natural Raw Effect Oiled Oak Flooring (16mm) for our living room, and we are incredibly impressed with both the quality and the ease of installation. We fitted the flooring ourselves. Having previously bought engineered oak flooring from two other companies, it was clear that the quality from British Hardwoods surpasses the others on many levels. We’ve received so many positive compliments and feedback from friends and neighbours. I highly recommend purchasing wood from this company.
