I cannot say my experience with Brookhaven law has been a good one. I started off excited to begin this program with them, to get my credit back on track, but I have found myself contacting them in situations where I feel they should’ve been the ones reaching out to me. When they do reach out to you, they reach out during work hours when I am unable to answer the phone, so I call back as soon as I get off work but suddenly nobody is available to answer the phone. I have emailed multiple times and received no responses. I now have two late payments on my credit for an account that is with Brookhaven. When I called to inquire about this, I felt dismissed and was told it was my job to sort it out, which is contrary to what I was initially told when I signed up for this program, which is once these debts went into consolidation with them, all communication had to go through Brookhaven law.
I honestly feel there are better companies out there that can do the same job so my advice to you is to do your research and find someone else.

Keeping me abreast of when my creditors want to settle with any offers and also keeping records of credit cards paid off.

Gets the job done and they have good support.

Took them forever to settle and when I called to change bank accounts they screwed that up therefore causing me to be late on a payment and they have to renegotiate again even though I tried to pay bye my bank card they could not accept my payment

I got on board with the company due to serious medical condition . I had brain surgery and needed their help to manger my creditor. Several creditor was taken off because they were not eligible. They were high . Now another creditor with a high balance they came back to me and explain a higher repayment plan and paying that creditor more money over time with me putting down a large amount of money over many thousands of dollars. What the %#*%#*. I’m not happy at all with coming out of a kidney surgery a week ago and hearing this. I just cried and hung up I couldn’t discuss the matter at this time. I will give an update on this review soon. My sister had just had two heart attack right before I took Brookhaven law firm.

No more concerns when in not present in my home.

Our experience with Brookhaven Law was extremely disappointing from start to finish. We repeatedly received conflicting information from different staff members, dealt with poor communication and little to no follow-up, and at times were spoken to in a way that felt rude and dismissive.

We paid off our debt more than a year ahead of schedule, yet we are still waiting for clear answers about how much Brookhaven charged us, why money is still sitting in our escrow account, and when those remaining funds will be returned to us.

For a program dealing with something as serious as debt consolidation, the lack of transparency and communication was unacceptable. At several points, the experience was so disorganized that we genuinely questioned whether the program was being handled legitimately and professionally.

Paying everything off early should have made the process easier, not left us chasing basic answers about our own money. I would not recommend Brookhaven Law based on our experience.

The company does well with updates. However, joining this program has made it difficult for me to acquire rental housing due to the hit that my credit score takes from joining this program, after I was told by an agent on the phone that it would not. Also, it is not progressing as fast as it should. By the time a settlement is sent to me for approval, the interest is piled on to the original balance I had, making the balance look higher and the savings look better. In reality, if I would have just taken a loan instead of joining this debt relief program, my credit score would not be as bad as it currently is, the credit cards would have been satisfied, then I would've cancelled the excess and would have only one bill to pay for about the same that is going into y escrow account monthly.

It is hard to understand some of the representatives. Every time I ask numbers, I get a different answer.
