I bought an expensive leather bag from one of their stores and it broke. After calling them, emailing them multiple times they still aren’t able to help repair the bag.
It’s disappointing that at the very least they can’t even offer repairs for bags that ruin so easily.

Scam. Sent torn clothes and refused to exchange them.
Poor quality for the very high prices. I order a sweater and received one that was torn. I mailed them so I could send it back and get a new one, but they refused to. They said it was used, even though they didn’t see the sweater (I only sent a picture of the part where the stitches was torn in the middle of the fabric). I didn’t use it. Got really sad and angry… This is against the law in Sweden, but they don’t care. So what else can I do than write a bad review. They still got my 300€. Scam.
I never used it. The reason it took me a while to return it, was because I got it in Christmas gift and I wasn’t supposed to be the one returning it. And it doesn’t matter if it took months, I never used it. You can CLEARLY see that the maschine that made the sweater made a mistake.

I bought the Luze shopping bag from Malene Birger, but I had to return it because it didn’t meet the high expectations for its price. It costs 3400 SEK and is made entirely of plastic. The straps are poorly constructed and ridiculously thin for such a large and heavy bag. What happened? :(

Har bestilt en vare d. 01.07.25, pengene er trukket og pakken hænger et eller andet sted i systemet. Jeg har skrevet med kundeservice 1 gang og chattet med dem 1 gang. Jeg får intet svar og har bedt om at få mine penge retur. Hvor svært skal det være?

Hurtig lev som altid og varen i orden osse som altid. Men der hvor kæden hopper af er ved retur varer. Under alt kritik !!! Normalt har der altid fulgt retur labels når jeg har handlet. Nu skal man selv printe ud. Jeg har ingen printer så måtte på biblioteket det kostede 2 kr, og ellers gratis med retur varer. Jeg overvejer meget om jeg gider handle igen. Da det er alt for omstændigt hvis man skal sende retur. Det plejer at være så nemt. Bare at sætte labels på hjemmefra som er med ved købet.

Pas på med tidsgrænserne for returret ved julegavekøb
Jeg fik hurtigt leveret min vare, som var en taske, jeg skulle give i julegave. Det var dejligt.
Jeg købte den tidligt, og der var således mere end de 14 dage til jul, som er grænsen for By Malene Birgers returret.
Der stod helt tydeligt anført i de medfølgende papirer, hvilken returret jeg havde, så By Malene Birger er i deres fulde ret til ikke at ville tage tasken retur, da det til jul viste sig, at gavemodtageren havde fået flere By Malene Birger tasker. Jeg synes blot, at det er dårlig service, at man ikke vil bytte julegaver, som er købt mere end 14 dage før jul. En sådan gave kan i sagens natur ikke returneres, før gavemodtageren har set den.
Mit budskab er: pas på med at købe gaver hos By Malene Birger i god tid før jul

Enormt dårlig kvalitet på veskene
Enormt dårlig kvalitet på veskene. Håndtakene på samtlige vesker blir ødelagt, smuldrer og faller ifra hverandre. Vesker til nesten 3000 norske kroner. Å de varer ikke lenge. Nei, masse penger på dårlig kvalitet.

Jeg har købt en Malene Birger taske i…
Jeg har købt en Malene Birger taske i Bahne i Odense tilbage i 2021. Tasken gik i stykker i sygningen i siderne efter meget kort tid og få ganges brug. Bahne vil ikke køre noget da de mener de ikke forhandler mærket mere og beder mig derfor tage kontakt til Malene Birger da det er deres produkt. De fralægger sig alt ansvaret. Tasken har kostet 1700kr og var max brugt 5 gange inden den gik op i syningen i siderne. Kan se flere som har samme model er gået op samme sted, så det må jo være en fejl fra deres side af. Men de fralægger sig alt ansvar. Vil derfor ikke anbefale jeg at købe nogle tasker fra dem når de kun kan bruges i så kort til og der derefter intet hjælp er at hente nogle stedet.

Poor quality - no value for money
I bought the Kleva Sandals for about 300 Eur. The shoes, hardly arrived and worn three times within a month, dissembled from the sole. Reason being the glue having dried out according to the shoe maker. I had even connected with the reseller (Ssense) for a return & cancellation of order yet never received any feedback. Additionally the sole, which is made of cheap foam, gets really dangerous when walking on any wet surface so you fall easily. I can't believe why this product is supposed to be worth the money, I will never buy from this manufacturer again.

Astonishing tone from customer service
I have been a loyal customer of By Malene Birger online store for several years, frequently purchasing expensive pieces due to the high quality and service they typically offer. However, a recent experience has left me deeply disappointed and questioning my continued patronage.
I received an email from the store implying that I had been exploiting a loophole in their birthday discount system by using the 15% off promotion on multiple orders. The tone of the email was accusatory and made me feel as though my loyalty and frequent business were not appreciated. It was astonishing and disheartening to be accused of something that was the result of an oversight in their system, not any wrongdoing on my part.
As a customer, I expect the store to handle any promotional issues internally without placing the onus on me. The email suggested that I had done something wrong, which is entirely unfair and unprofessional.
While I have always enjoyed the products, this experience has left a very negative impression. I hope the store addresses this issue and improves its customer communication policies. The website will not have to worry about future purchases from me, as I don't ever want to feel like I have stolen anything.
