Lovely well kept centre to walk round and a great restaurant

The recent purchase of Sherfield Garden Centre to Capital has looked good so far. It will be interesting to see new products.

Helpful staff and an enjoyable experience.

No overly impressed with this garden centre, it has the basic but wouldn’t want to spend time browsing or have coffee, lots of the plants looked in or condition and overal centre looked like it was closing down as very empty, on the lid side staff are lovely and very helpful, I will be returning though to my garden centre further away, Redfields in Church Crookham, disappointed as we live in Chineham so would have liked to be impressed and able to use my local garden centre

Not having visited for some time we found a much larger centre with greater selection of all aspects of gardening and healthy looking plants. Wednesday 10% reduction for older members means we will certainly be returning.

They must have one of the largest selections of plants, garden tools and accessories in town. And I am so lucky to have this so near to me. The only thing they are missing is the coffee shop!

I have only ever had excellent service and excellent choice of plants, etc. at Woods. And always look forward to going there to have a look around and find inspiration for improving my somewhat unkempt garden. I am a Waitrose customer too (though not your neighbouring branch) and find it quite disturbing that a company that prides itself on being 'mindful' should not consider 'live and let live' to be part of being mindful. Shame on them. And good luck to you.

I called today to make a substantial purchase but found that all the staff were taking refreshments in the cafe. Not one on the sales floor or the checkout. When I asked if anyone was serving, the response was that they were taking a break!
This is actually worse than the Wyevale years, and they were pretty poor on customer service.
I took my business elsewhere.

Visited your new sherfield on loddon site Sunday. Bought some beautiful plants for our garden, the staff were very helpful. Saw you had a restaurant so stopped for lunch. Lunch was amazing, beautifully presented home cooked food. Would thoroughly recommend and will definitely be returning soon.

I wrote a review on my difficult experience at Woods recently! It’s been deleted! How honest is that??

I ordered a garden table. It was delivered several weeks later as they only deliver items Monday to Wednesday, when I am at work.
The aluminum / glass table was delivered damaged twice and I am now waiting for the third replacement.
I visited the shop several times. There was never any assistance on the floor, even when I requested it.

Just been looking st your website on furniture range. Good selection and competitive prices, also look seasonal advice, very informative and will help me plan my garden, I visited today for my bulbs , excellent customer services, and advice given.

This is a really excellent garden centre with a lovely cafe that has rooftop and outside tables for the warmer days and a great menu.
The range of plants and garden accessories is large and well considered. The staff are knowledgable, friendly and helpful. A great range of bee friendly plants - many of which have been grown without the use of neonicotinoids - well done Capital Gardens !
I am particularly impressed by the Garden Centre employing staff who are training in horticulture and several staff who have special needs - They are a fantastic local asset.

I have been using this garden centre for years and it is now greatly improved. The layout is not too cluttered and the products on sale are of a high quality. The only downside is the cafe. The staff there are very helpful and really do their best but more staff are needed and particularly another chef. If the food on offer was more extensive that would definitely draw more people to the garden centre. These days it seems that if you get the cafe working well the rest will be successful.

Always a pleasure visiting this garden centre and it’s surroundings.
Good selection of indoor and outdoor plants.
The delivery service is super convenient as well.
Everything was brought through my property in to the garden. Made my life a lot easier!

The staff there are so helpful and friendly.
How they have refurbished the car park is lovely and much easier to use.
