Their plants I always think are very good quality and not too expensive. Their staff are always very nice and extremely helpful. I couldn't recommend them more highly

Extremely helpful staff
I needed some bags of manure which were not immediately on view. One of the staff found me the bags I wanted, put them straight into the boot of my car and took me in the exit for speed to pay. And there is an excellent customer reward scheme.

Happy to regularly use the Wandsworth branch for basics like compost and seasonal planting additions for the garden. They understand the needs of city gardeners and offer a good range of plants. The houseplant section is very well stocked, offering some interesting and more unusual options.

Helpful staff
I have always found the staff helpful - if they don't know the answer to any questions about plants themselves they always get someone with more experience to come and help.
Also, no quibble returns policy if items need changing or refunds where appropriate.

Excellent selection of plants and products.
The Centre has a wide range of plants, a huge selection of pots, a broad range of products for the garden, patio and conservatory and friendly staff. Tools are a bit limited but there's a good range of watering items.

Dead Xmas tree
Happy with service and quality of plants. However did buy a rooted Xmas tree for £30. Transplanted it after Christmas but it has since died. Could I get a refund?

Great variety of plants
Stock in good condition. Staff very helpful and pleasant although it would be a help if there were more on the tills. Often quite a queue for the single manned till. Would like more help with heavy objects too.

Knowledgable staff - so helpful for a gardening novice!
I recently moved into a house with a garden for the first time. I've not got particularly 'green fingers', so advice from people who really know their onions (or tulips) is much needed!
I was recommended to visit Neal's by a friend who has been before, and I was not disappointed. The really very helpful lady in the nursery area helped me to choose the right plants for the soil and light in my garden. She didn't make me feel like a dummy for not knowing much about plants, or talk jargon at me. She explained things clearly and with such enthusiasm I was completely drawn in! She's made a gardener out of me! I think that because I went when it was quiet (Tuesday morning) it meant that I didn't have to compete with other customers for her time.
I also had a good browse in the indoors area - so many great bits and pieces, it was hard not to impulse buy a whole load of stuff for the house too. It's not the most beautiful of garden centres, but that doesn't matter when the staff are this helpful and the range of stock is this wide.
All in all a real gem of a garden centre, I will be back!

Great Customer Service and A Wonderful Garden Centre
I've been visiting Neals Nurseries for years. The staff are always friendly and happy to help with any queries and the plants are always perfect quality!
The only issue I've ever had is locating plants for specific areas in my garden- as I've got a very shady garden and need plants that will thrive in less sun!
