Customer service from CBD Jumeirah is excellent. The management and staff are very helpful and approachable. I find it to be one of the best branches.

Very bad experience as I have been dealing with CBD since 8 years using their credit card for the first time in the entire 8 years I applied for the replacement of the card as my card was used fraud and they charged me unnesary 75 dirhams + vat even under this circumstances during the war customers get panic due to the situation of fraud . I contacted the call centre to explain them that I had been using other cards as well but atleast when the customer is applying for the first time it must be free. Please check my records I have been paying full payment every month without any delay in payments .

If I could give lower than 1 star I would, beyond awful customer service. I changed companies and they put a hold on my account for my end of service, I visited the branch to give them my new documents, I have been paid 3 salaries from my new employer and have made numerous complaints and the hold still applies. I asked to cancel my account and it's virtually impossible to cancel the account.

-10 for pathetic online chat. Live agent connects, but no answer after the first greeting, and the chat is disconnected without any reason.

I had the worse experience with the CBD the got zero customer support and staff behavior very poor, recently got a fraud issue which compelled me to block my card from the banking app, after which I informed the bank of the issue they assured me that I can do out transfer in the main time from my app only for me to notice that the completely locked my mobile app requesting for a one time password. This is the worse banking service in the UAE I don’t advise anyone to join this bank

Extremely disappointing experience! I encountered repeated credit card processing issues while trying to complete a crypto purchase. The transaction failed three times without any meaningful explanation. This caused me a huge delay to make a deposit on Frontier Invest Corp my financial firm.
The customer care isn't responsive and unprofessional. Be careful before applying for CBD Credit cards.

You clearly do not value your customers. At this point, it is inevitable that many will move to other banks, especially since you are not the only option in the UAE.

Repeated messages regarding double charges are unacceptable and extremely frustrating. There is no benefit in continuing a relationship with your bank, despite the fact that we previously appreciated your security standards.

In sharjah university city center branch reception two ladies sitting irresponsible no support to customer. If any doubt..ie lady says that sent mail... This problem solve her own system but careless. Please appoint responsible staff..

C'est la pire banque que j'ai jamais vu. Une banque qui ne pense qu'à elle même sans aucun soucis en ce qui concerne la satisfaction des client. Je ne conseille jamais à venir ouvrir un compte avec cette banque. J'avais de l'argent sur mon compte avec elle, je voulais faire un transfert de compte à compte sur un autre compte international, le système a refusé que je fasse le transfert, je rappelle que c'est un transfert qui respecte toutes les normes indiquées par le gouvernement. J'ai appelé le service client, qui promet me revenir pour essayer de m'aider. Je vous dit que le service client m'a rappelé 4 semaines après, j'ai des preuves de ce que je dis. J'ai dû trouver un moyen pour envoyer mon argent. C'est une banque selfish.

Sur un compte CBD contient argent il varie les taux sans s'aligner avec l'écran des taux mondial,il augmente le taux de vente et diminue ce qui est présent dans le compte pourtant le taux augmente.cest a n que

One of the worst customer care divisions with zero customer care in their Investr section. Please avoid this bank at all costs. they r not there to do business, they actually have no customer-friendly policies. We struggle a lot with them

Very unprofessional! I had thrice issue in credit card payment. i made my payments but the app never reflects it. I asked the customer care, they simply ask for swift copy which can never be produced in case of credit card payment which the bank itself knows. they are very very unprofessional people and why this app really awful where the amount just don't get reflected and run behind this to avoid the late fee payment. even if we provide evidences for everything, they cant assure anything from their side which is absurd and really threatening. I dot trust this bank anymore.

Very disappointing experience with CBD Credit Card.

My husband uses a CBD credit card. When we checked the total outstanding amount, we wanted to cancel the installment plans and pay everything in full. We were shocked to learn that CBD charges AED 1,000 per installment plan for cancellation.

He has five installment plans, so we are required to pay an extra AED 5,000, in addition to the full outstanding amount. This charge is per transaction, which is extremely high and unreasonable. Usually, banks charge a small percentage (like 5% or 10%) for early settlement, but AED 1,000 per installment is excessive.

This policy is not clearly communicated and feels unfair to customers. Honestly, based on this experience, I do not recommend taking a CBD credit card.

I had too much issues while the bank branches keep changing from places to places..idk why my card get inactive. So I had to spent my working hours to the bank and their way of treating me so pathetic... I guess this bank is going to close. Now I actually need to closure my account in CBD bank .. their giving too much of procedures.. it's too hard for a bank to give this much ... Tto bad

CBD (Commercial Bank of Dubai) is the worst bank ever! Don't get a credit card from this bank. I recently decided to close my credit card and settle all my outstanding balance. I have some installment plans existing which I applied last year or early this year. The cancellation fee when I applied was only 105 or up to 2% of the remaining EPP amount. However they recently revised the rule which I am not aware of, effective Sep 21, 2025 and the new cancellation fee is AED1,050 per EPP. This is too much for early settlement fee. They allow to convert retail purchase to convert into installment for minimum AED500 transaction and when you decide to pay it off early, they will charge you AED1,050. This amount is not reasonable, it's too much. They don't even entertain request to waive or lower down the fees. And in my case, my EPP's were applied prior to the new schedule of fees. They should apply the new fees to new plans only from the effectivity date.
