Just got a 1 month and got the user and pass did not work.
Emailed 3 times no reply 3 weeks now.

Company revoked paid lifetime licences, scammers. Avoid and use anything else.

They are scammers, my lifetime license just expired.

Would never use this app again. I bought a lifetime license in 2014, thinking that lifetime meant... you know.... at least 6 years.

Then one day, Cerberus app stopped working on my phone and they emailed me telling my subscription expired.

I thought a mistake had been made, so I emailed support. And waited. And emailed again. And waited.

And they never replied. That was 3 months ago.

Come to find out, they cancelled EVERY SINGLE LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP! Without any communication! What the heck?

Good thing that most of Cerberus's functionality is built in to Android Device Manager now. They are obsolete.

My account got deleted as well , although I purchased a "lifetime" liceanse a couple of years ago! Pretty bad, because I also received an information email a few years ago saying that Cerberus changed their subscirption model from one-time-payment to monthly or yearly fee but promised in that mail that all purchased licences will remain valid forever....

They didn't even sent an offer or anything else now, just a mail with 2 lines, saying the the service will expire (in acutally 0 days). Thanks Cerberus for treating your current customers that bad!

And to my previous speaker here: I'm 100% certain that it's just not only the same person posting. At least with me, we are already 2. I also felt like I need to post now to warn others and therefore took the step (hurdle) to register here now, only because I'm so angry!! So yes, when everything was good, no need for me to post or comment something and to register, but now it's really "worth" it to register and do this one and only post on this platform.
Be happy until it also hits you with your "lifetime" license.

ive had my membership for 9+ years now and have never had anything but good come of it. and i have never gotten any email saying that would be changing at any point in time. seems to me like the over 200 reviews on here may be from 1 extremely bored and disgruntled person (who should get a goldfish or something) since they are all about the same supposed issue and are the only review left on this platform ever by most of the fake people

Wie bei jedem anderen hier wurde mir auch meine gekaufte lebenslange Lizenz gesperrt und der Account komplett gelöscht.Ein solches Geschäftsgebahren werde ich nicht unterstützen.

Ladri, semplicemente dei LADRI! Licenza a vita acquistata nel 2012 quando non erano nemmeno credibili, come molti gli diedi fiducia sbagliando! Ora sinceramente auguro il FALLIMENTO a questi LADRI!

Beware, Don't trust this company. I loose my lifetime warranty. It can happen to you too. You could loose all you protection too.

Wie bei jedem anderen hier wurde mir auch meine lebenslange Lizenz (gekauft 2015 für 3 Geräte, 6€) gesperrt im Dezember 2019.
Nach einer E-Mail an den Support, die auch bis heute nicht beantwortet wurde, wurde mein Account komplett gelöscht.
Nun soll ich 14€ im Jahr zahlen? Absolut lächerlich.
Schade dass die Firma nicht in Deutschland sitzt, sonst hätte ich wahrscheinlich rechtliche Schritte in die Wege geleitet
So bleibt mir nur übrig, mit den 6€ die ich in den Sand gesetzt habe, abzuschließen und nach Alternativen zu schauen (die App selber war nämlich nicht schlecht..)
Ich habe schon "Prey" und "Android Lost" im Auge, zur Info falls jemand auch eine neue Sicherheitsapp braucht :)

Scam! I bought a lifetime license in 2011. Last December I got an email saying my license has expired. Tried loging in to my account just to find out it has been deleted!

il mio account ha smesso di funzionare improvvisamente e da quel che leggo hanno annullato le licenze a vita pagate quando non erano ancora NESSUNO.
Non si degnano nemmeno di rispondere alle mail.

I purchased their app (Cerberus) back in 2014 and it was supposed to be a lifetime license, but unfortunately they canceled it in December 2018, just like that. I got an email where I was informed that my lifetime license is about to expire and I should purchase a monthly paid license if I want to continue using their product. Unfortunately that is not how things work and if one should have the ability to terminate such an agreement then it's not worth it to keep my devices secure with their app, as this practice does not inspire any confidence. I wrote to them several emails asking for clarifications, but they have not answered since. Steer away, do not use their product. This company is a scam and fraud. Don't trust their terms of agreement!

Paid for lifetime license. Company decided they didn't want to honor their license for lifetime customers and demanded more money, and if you didn't pay, the cancelled your account. Scam.

Like other users i am just disapointed. Bad company.

Totally unethical company. Like many others, I have a perpetual license (actually two - we both had one each) which were purchased in the very early days of this app (2012!). So we effectively helped sponsor the development by being early adopters.

Now they delete our accounts and render it impossible to use the app we paid for.

Contacting support - a pointless waste of your time. They just ignore the emails. And the forums are pointless also, first they block your post if they don't like it, or they delete the posts and now seem to have removed the forum altogether.

Shameful. In fact it is worse than that, as this was supposed to be a security app you can trust (and hence by inference need to trust the people behind it!).

Google seems to have been spot-on when they removed it from the play store.

Lifetime Account deleted with about 2 days Warnung. Never Again.
