Great experience so far after searching the internet on what supplier. Which is similar to the car industry everything just rebadged.
I haven’t put them to work yet just set everything up . I purchased planer thicknesser w590

I was looking for a scroll saw and this appeared to offer a good deal for the money, and a flexible product. Worked well so far, and the take-off drive is a plus. Blades with the product are acceptable for 'fast' cutting (speed is relative!), but you'll definitely need others for more detailed scroll work. Simple ordering, arrived on time, well packaged, good instructions, and up and running quickly. Unusually I didn't do my normal deep research of all possibilities out there before purchase. Only issue I have is how fiddly attaching flat end blades is when inserting through a drilled hole for close internal cutting - this makes the fitting guide less helpful, as it's necessary to unfasten one end to feed it through the work, then refit it, doing the hex screw up once the blade is through the wood - I'm assuming there are easier systems on more expensive saws, but it still feels like good value for the money.

The order was dispatched within 24 hours by Royal Mail 48, so why did it take 6 days to arrive? Royal Mail seems to be a law unto themselves and they state on their tracking service that the times and date shown are not a guarantee. The first estimate was within 48 hours from receipt of the package.
Can Charnwood provide a more reliable delivery service or establish why the Mail 48 service took so long to arrive.
A phone call to Charnwood on the 25th September about the order, was handled professionally, and was much appreciated .

Bought a lathe stand from Charnwood was led to belive by their adverts that I could get an extension to the stand so that my lathe with bed extension would fit, now having tried to buy the extension I am told we discontinued that item in January 2024 but the stand i bought arrived today from Charnwood and in the package is a leaflet advertising the extension! this item is also not listed on their discontinued equipment page!

Great for light use in a small workshop. This is a good alternative to vastly more expensive (and much bigger) professional tables. It’s easy to assemble, exactly as described, does what I need.
