Ordered an ARK server with them. The server would not show up for me or my friend, so I contacted support. Support kept blaming me for the issues and was not nice to work with at all. I finally was able to access the server only to find out mods absolutely do not work on their servers. We tried everything, followed their guides, etc. trying to get it to work. Finally gave up and contacted them for a refund because I already wasted too much time on their awful service.

Now they just want to credit my account with them. Uhh, no? Your service is awful I need a credit back to my credit card. I did not receive the promised service and shouldn't have to jump through hoops to get that service.

AVOID THEM. Went with another host, had it up and running in no time with 0 problems so it definitely was NOT me as their customer service tried to say it was.

EDIT: As of January 2026 they are running around trying to fix their 1 star reviews by saying we must have mistaken them for another company. No, I know exactly which company I had issues with, thanks. Another reason to avoid them, they are dishonest and instead of fixing problems just cover them up with gaslighting.

DO NOT use their service, their customer service is only available when you inquire about purchasing, and they will say anything to lure you into trying them out. 3 days Money Back guarantee is a scam, because they would charged you base on your prorated usage, and offer to give you credit for future service Only, telling you is their "Policy". If you refuse their offer, they cancel your account access and hide all the ticket you submitted so you cannot post them on Social media. Beware of this company.

Edit: apparently they contacted all the places where I post the review to provide proof. But the funny thing is they already cancelled my account along with all the information, this is how they PR all their bad reviews.

Bought a Dayz server. Loaded mods. Mods wouldn't work. Asked for refund. They instead sent me several emails begging me to stay and not cancel. When I told them they're acting like a needy ex-girlfriend, they refused to give me a refund. I was the sevice for 12 hours.

Ease of use and hosted perfectly. Our small group of players enjoyed 7 days to die for a few months.

We enjoy the experience and the server side options.

We plan to be back when we pick a new game.

Thanks for just disabling my account without warning. Paid for a server $100 /mo, and now I can't login, can't contact support. Tried 3 times, but they keep ignoring me.

Ved roll back til tidligere save, på Ark server, da nulstiller serveren til random navn, pw etc.

Reelt kan der ikke bruges game backup, hvor der rulles tilbage i tid.

Ved annullering af service, da står der "There is an outstanding cancellation request for this product/service" for tid & evighed. Firmaet svarer ikke på annullering af service og supporten har heller ikke været brugbar.

Det er heller ikke muligt, at slette sin profil hos spøgelsesselskabet, så det eneste sikre er, at skaffe sig et nyt VISA-kort (det kan tilsyneladende fjernes som betalingsmiddel, men du kan ikke stoppe dit abonnement og andre bruger oplyser; at selskabet tager sig friheden til fortsat at trække penge).

Support team is knowledgeable and patient. Spent a good amount of time going through the process with me.

Spent 8 hours helping me troubleshoot file transfers and then completely taking over for me. Respectful, kind and professional the entire time. Very fast response time as well! I feel so bad for how much I've been putting them through but they reassured me that is what they are here for. 10/10 recommend Citadel Servers if you ever want to use a server hosting service!

I had a Palworld server hosted using this service for a couple of months. I then canceled this service however it continued charging me through PayPal which I did not realize because I assumed when you cancel the services you use with them, you would not be charged again since...you are not using any services. There is over $300 now funded to my Citadel Server account, which I have absolutely no use for. Today I was refused a refund of these credits and now have lost hundreds of dollars to a company who could very easily refund me. They told me to "use the credits for one of their other services" instead, which I have absolutely no uses for.

Steer CLEAR. This manipulative, predatory method of continuing to charge someone when they are using ZERO services is insane to me.

I got recommended to get a server here for both 7DTD and Abiotic Factor. Abiotic Factor had no issues but when the 1.0 Update hit for 7Dtd, the server went down for a moment but the support fixed it for us shortly after reaching to them. Aside from that, 6 months went by without any further issues so I would say it was a solid Service.

This was my first time setting up a server so there were a lot of little things I was unfamiliar with. Essentially I was unable to get it to run properly no matter what I tried. Cully was the one who assisted me and they were able to help narrow down the issue while being very patient and concise in the way they handled the entire situation which I really appreciated.

If you're sick of server providers taking days to answer your tickets, go with this service. I have had two different servers through two different hosts now and customer service takes forever. I set up my 7 Days To Die server and troubleshot a small issue within minutes with their live reps, who are awesome. If you've been shopping around for a while, go with this service.

I have recently purchased a DayZ server with Citadel. Everything so far has been great. The support team is beyond helpful. I personally have had a support member by the name of Alvin, who has been extremely quick and helpful. 10/10 recommend Citadel Servers!!
