I ordered a roll of wallpaper on 23/12/23 paid for 1 - 5 days delivery. I have never received it !
I have responded to an email dated 2/1/24 thanking me for my order and hoping that I am enjoying my purchase, saying that I have not yet received it. I am still waiting. I have tried calling them many times and have not yet had the phone picked up !
I am totally fed up - would never use again.

I have now received an email from Clearence XL refunding the cost of the wallpaper - not inluding postage paid. I would really have prefered to have the wallpaper but hey ho. They obviously don't read emails or answer phones but Trustpilot reviews are a must so it seems!

I brought of Clearance xl for years and sadly I won’t be anymore prices are have gone up wear in some cases same or even more in shops last order I had took ages and came in 2 deliveries even know I was not told this carrot and bunny games had black mould in the boxes on them all and had to be binned 5 of the toys wear badly damaged and also went in the bin no point message as takes ages to get a response if you do get one I don’t know why a company like this that was so good for want they do changed to wear all they care is about making as much as they can out of a item and don’t care want existing customers or new ones sending out items that’s not even can be used and had to be binned I even stuck up for them on my reviews in the past and even found them clearance deals but now it feels like all they care about is there pockets and not the customers who keeps them going

It was not no 6 toys it was all the carrot games , all rabbit games , 3 guess who and 2 Ludo as said I message a few times asking for a update on my order only got a response back when I left a review as my order was sent in different days I had no response from you at all so why would I wasted more time and getting stressed out over it just to not even get a response back from the first time I emailed you

I spent loads with you in the past but the carrot games you can tell they got wet and then dryed and then wear they been store the mould got to them

It’s only a saving if the item/ items are useable as you know from past messages theses toys wear heading to a charity that asked me to purchase them on there behalf
I could not let a charity pay for badly damaged toys or toys with mould so it came out of my pocket so all it done was make more waste that you trying to stop

Also how would parcel company would know if a items are damaged in sealed box these wear damaged when they wear packed also I did not get my whole order the same day if you look back at emails you would see this

Calling me basically a lier and a fake review is shocking from a company I spent 1000s with and even spoke to you when I found you a deal what you brought and sold then now calling me a lier is shocking so for this I re-evaluated my review for you

I was go throw my emails and it pop up to leave a review I got this email 4 days ago that’s why I fort I would say something

My food order box came damaged to the point where milk had leaked all over the other food items. Took me an hour cleaning up the mess.

The response from clearance XL was very poor. The owner of the company paul, instead of helping me resolve the situation, he sent me emails trying to say it was not his fault. Had a bad attitute.

The food items in the box, 95% were useless to me. For example i got 12 mayo bottles out of date,
Tonic water full pack etc. Misleading advertisement on the wowcher website.

Will never use clearance XL again

Quick service, fair price.

Stuff was all out of date not just a few mnths nearly a year. Waste of money.

No wounder all your reviews are crap if that’s the way you’d speck to your customers!

Very easy to place an order , kept updated on progress and good delivery . All items in good condition

I had some trepidation after reading some of the other reviews here, but everything was absolutely fine for me, fully delivered in reasonable condition three days after I'd ordered. The only reason I'm docking a star is because the lack of order confirmation email was really annoying and it was hard to tell whether my order had gone through at all without that. I appreciated their prices and their variety of products.

Quick delivey, very easy transaction

I ordered last Xmas and it was in 2 boxes. On arrived and the other did not.. I was waiting around for days. The DPD app did not help at all except it did not say it was here. When I contacted clearancexl they were dreadful. It ended with me going through PayPal where I was made to type in every detail again. They were asking me what I wanted instead when my computer went down. As soon as I got back on it was already dropped because I hadn't replied again. PayPal read through it all and reimbursed me. Clearance xl was great previously but this was shocking and I never found where my part order, which I really wanted went. Think I'd paid good postage fees too..

I would have replied but didnt know as this isnt on my usual email account. I find it striking that having visited the site today, it says I have not ordered in the past 2 years, my history has cleared!
However i do have the order no if you want it from my receipt! (120347041)You wanted every detail when I went through paypal too, like the details of every item which i did supply. You must have been delighted when i missed the reply date asking what I would like instead,due to a computer problem. You had then acknowledged my loss..

Absolutely terrible
States everything will be ok to eat, but being two years from the best before date, I would say is going to make people poorly. I know it states items will be in/on/after best before date but everything was after by years. There is no contact from this company, they do not send confirmation emails, they do not reply to online chat, they do not reply to emails, nothing was delivered on time, and I believe I only got these items as I had to get paypal involved. I'm still waiting for the second parcel which I do not want I just want a refund before it is sent. Worse experience as I've had to spend a lot of time dealing with PayPal to even get this company to reply/send the order. Do not use

So ordered a box using Wowcher, it was advertised as RRP £110+ what an absolute joke. Everything was 2 years out of date apart from a few items. Which were stale and tasteless, also it was more a box of condiments than groceries. This stuff really shouldn't be sold , even a food bank would throw it away. It's all well and good that something is past it's best before date , but this is ridiculous and someone would get ill from. I complained to Paul the boss/manager/ what ever his title is, who turns out to be a complete cxxt , doesn't reply to emails and thinks he's selling Tesco's finest. You look on their website and the prices they charge for this shxt is scandalous, wouldn't touch this company with a barge pole . Only gave 1 star because I had to . Don't waste your money because when you are disappointed you'll have to deal with the Paul .
Had to edit the post because Paul complained it was too personal. That's what you get when you don't reply or have been dam right arrogant . Look at all the other posts on here , it not just me , there is a common denominator

Further to my review I had an email from Paul who said my review was a bit strong for a box of out of date food. , refuse to give me a refund and when I emailed back.he said he would report me to the police for abusive language and harassment. Harassment what a cheek when they are clearly ripping people off and can't stand the heat when people complain, also asked trustpilot to take my review down ; what pure cheek. I am now reporting this company to trading Standards as they clearly have none.
As I've said before don't buy off this company because you will be wasting your money for goods that are fit for the bin And will have to deal with this cretin.
Once again asking for order no when it's in the review above and the review is titled fit for bin.

If I could give no stars I would. I have messaged them continually since I purchased the goods. Guess what continually off line. Tried to call. Guess what not connected. 20th November I placed the order. Also contacted woucher as that is where I got the voucher. I don't understand why you messaged back saying you were never offline and that is all was on the message. Saying they were offline and will contact you as soon as possible. I didn't expect immediate delivery but was just wondering roughly when to expect delivery. It is nearly 30 days since order. I didn't appreciate you saying that I would need to wait longer for goods that I have already paid for.

Great box when it arrived but no communication and it took so long to come I thought it was a scam and I’d been done. When it eventually arrived it was great quantity and quality but I won’t be using again - just needed to know it was being processed’ When it was likely to arrive or something just to know it was coming

I got mostly bottles of salad sauces l threw most of the stuff away.
Not a good experience.

Beware bad trader

Ridiculously slow delivery. I can order from China and get deliveries before these guys even ship. 7-30 days minimum. So even things that were in date are well past when they arrive. I use a lot of best before sites, and this one charges the most for shipping, but is the absolute slowest to ship.

Their reply says my parcel was delivered within the timeframe - but it still hasn't been shipped! So they clearly have no idea what's going on with my order. Moreover, insulting customers isn't the best way forward.
I do order from other BB sites. They're all better and faster.
So when will you ship my order?

Update: they replied to this review to insult me and say they are delaying it to the last day. Too bad we can't post screenshots here. They then edited their reply to remove their entire rant when I opened a PayPal dispute.

I have made several orders here before, and never complained because they had decent customer service. But that's all gone out the window now. They even reported this review as fake.

Delivery took way too long. Was eventually dispatched after I sent several emails.
When items arrived all where out of date.
