My daughter was at a friend‘s house and the friend was taking pictures with her digital camera and accidentally deleted the files. She messaged me in a panic. What do I do? How do I fix this? After a quick search, I found Disk Drill, seems to be the more effective program at recovering deleted files off of SD cards, hard drives anything that stores data. I decided the best path was to get the lifetime license, but I didn’t know if I could use it on more than one computer. I messaged them whilst I was on the phone with my daughter and in less than five minutes I got a response that I have three instances of the software and I can put it on any three computers that I own. As soon as I got that response, I bought the lifetime license and my daughter was able to recover her friends pictures to save the day from their gathering. Thanks to Disk Drill, my daughter‘s memories have been saved. I think this is an essential tool in your tool kit to make sure that if you delete something you didn’t mean to you have the ability to recover it. This comes highly recommended. Great product! Very pleased with Advanced Camera Recovery module, works well with diferent types of video files, mov/mp4 and mxf also. Very helpfull when you need to recover fragmented video files without file table, for example after formating memory card. In my case it recovered everything was needed.

Disk Drill is a wonderful program. I was able to save files from an old hard drive that had a damaged partition. It took a while, but Disk Drill even recovered files long deleted before the hard drive started having problems. On top of all that, Clever's customer service is outstanding. I had an issue with a promo code when upgrading and Mit helped me with a new link that allowed the code to work. 5 Stars for both product and customer service! Thanks!

I accidentally deleted several 4K S-Log videos from my camera card and used the situation to test my recovery workflow. The Advanced Camera Recovery feature successfully restored all files intact, and they worked perfectly in DaVinci Resolve.

At first, I was confused because the Online Video Repair service was asking me to pay despite having a Disk Drill PRO Lifetime License. The support team was patient, responsive, and helped me understand that I needed to access the service through the desktop application for my license to be recognized.

The software is powerful, easy to use, and the support team is outstanding. Highly recommended for photographers and videographers.

I purchased the product based on the reviews I read. I did a trial run using the free scan which worked fine. When I tried to move files from one hard drive to another, over 90% of my files did not transfer in the original format, which was useless. What a waste of time and money. I sent several emails to tech support asking for updates over the course of almost two weeks before David replied with this response: "We can only guarantee the recovery of the files you can fully preview in Disk Drill. Let me note that the readability of files after recovery depends on many factors. The actual playback of the recovered files depends on the file status, original data, and how much of it was recovered. Many programs will not open the files if they are missing metadata. This type of data is not recovered if files are found in the Deep Scan mode, which means they are not going to open on a standard program due to the program's limitations." Thanks Disk Drill for wasting my time and money. I should've just went to Geek Squad or somewhere local.

I lost a pertinent file related to my business. The only viable way for me to recover it was through Disk Drill. I downloaded the software and ran the scan (super easy to do). Once I did, the file that I lost was found and had a high likelihood of recovery. I also contacted their support and got timely responses which I appreciated.

My daughter accidentally damaged an important video file (MOV format on Mac). After searching online, I found CleverFiles to be one of the more reliable options.

I uploaded the file and was quickly shown a perfect preview. I paid the fee and downloaded the repaired file, but the first version had a small issue. I contacted their support via chat, and they resolved everything within a couple of minutes. They asked me to download the file again, and this time everything worked perfectly.

Good customer service is the anecdote to stress related to digital mishaps. CleverFiles (Disk Drill) was so quick to respond to my request and had a real solution. Hooray for problem solving in a low stress way.

They fixed everything so easily and with optimism, it was amazing. I'm a techie person, but I bought probably the first version 17 years ago and since then bought a new one when the MacBooks stopped having optical drives just because it was easier (in my naivety it was an Apple App Store cheaper "sandboxed", non-pro version). Then I lost the original and its license but it lingered back in their old records.
I had already overwritten it and that MacBook is long gone now. Here we are a decade later, and he was able to look it up live in the help chat (not a bot by the way) at 7 p.m. and was able to diagnose my own mistakes without saying they were (they definitely were my fault), help fix a couple of things, and even sent me my original Order ID and Lifetime Pro License with future upgrades and got it up and running with Pro again all at about 15 minutes with no complaints or hoops to jump through.
Absolutely amazing customer service! The program has and always does work fantastically by the way, the current version added in the fixed versions of duplicate file finder and other formerly paid add-ons!!

Definitely do not hesitate to buy a PRO Lifetime membership to this because they do support it for life with no hesitation. Everything he suggested was EXACTLY the fix the first time, every time. Then he emailed me all the information for NEXT time I get a who-knows-what kind of computer and how to transfer it there too! 6/5 STARS!

I tried to recover some files and it works

I bought Disk Drill with the lifetime upgrades back in 2020 to use then. Didn't use it until last night. It found the files I lost when my SD card died (in the middle of transferring, no less), then asked me for my activation code. My code didn't work and a KB indicated that after 2024 things changed a little. I requested the code as indicated and expected a response in 24-48 hours. Imagine my surprise when I got a response in less than an hour, and it was almost 9pm MDT (11pm EDT) Wow! I got it activated and my files recovered the same night. Incredible service!

This program has given me hope after losing many of my important documents. Thank you.

Do not use this product, not even the free version. If it finds "recoverable" files, you can not actually recover them without upgrading to a paid version. This makes the free product practically useless. The files listed as recoverable may not have the original directory/folder structure or filenames. I "upgraded" to the paid version and wasted my time and money. This is a misleading company.

I wanted a student discount, they gave me one. I wanted a refund because I paid full price for it originally, the gave me the refund. Thanks David S and the team, I appreciate it.
