CleverFiles Reviews

I have been using Disk Drill around 5 years now and it has got me out of trouble many times as I am always fiddling with my computer. Today I needed the instructions and keycode to install the software on my new system. I have had to reach out to the staff at Cleverfiles more times than I can remember for a multitude of different requests and every time I do they are very quick to return my emails and solve my problem. I have used many different free and paid file recovery programs. Many did nothing at all. I was concerned at hiking over, I don't remember now but it was well over $100 for the lifetime upgrade. Now I am at liberty to tinker with my BIOS and overclock everything or install a dual boot system because I know that I have a byte to byte back up of the entire system I can restore everything with. Peace of mind is worth it's weight in gold when you rely on your computer like I do.

By mistake I managed to reformat my old hard drive before copying all files and data to the new. I was in big trouble since I deleted all my old family photos and other personal data files. That says it all on how much i know about computers and how to work with them! I started searching online for software and applications to restore my deleted files and I came across Disk Drill. With so many positive and negative reviews, i decided to give it a try and installed the free limited recovery edition. After running the initial test, the application was able to recover some of my files. I was very impressed with how it labeled and categorized the folders and file locations. I didn't have to look in every folder to see what files were there. I knew my folder structure and where i saved my pictures, music, personal files and all my data on my old drive. Disk Drill saved me a lot of time to find all my files and i decided to go ahead and purchase the software. After downloading the full version and running the deep scan of the old formatted drive, i was able to recover all my data without any problem. During running the software I had a few questions and was able to contact their customer service online and they answered every one of my questions in a matter of minutes. Thank you Diana! Not sure why many negative review on the application, but it worked perfectly as expected even for someone not as experienced like me. Thank you Disk Drill you saved me. Very impressed and highly recommended.

I can't speak highly enough about CleverFiles. I repaired 1 file using their online tool which worked perfectly. My 2nd file was greater than 5GB but the team worked their magic and sent it over to me completely repaired. Great service, amazing customer care and a great outcome. Thank you

I accidentally erased a 14TB hard drive with a digital lifetime of over several hundred thousand music files. So I turned to CleverFiles Disk Drill to rescue them.

Several times while using the app I consulted with CleverFiles Support. Each time my questions and concerns were answered patiently.

I am very happy with the customer service and the performance of Disk Drill. I got back 99% of my files in their original condition. What was lost were some files missing metadata, and some others where a few music albums were recovered with jumbled partial tracks.

My advice to anyone using this app is to go slow and read carefully. If you follow the directions to the letter all should go well. Be sure to contact support if you are not sure.

Great app, great support!

Video, delete ho gaya hai

CleverFiles WORKS! Tried VLC and HandBrake, got nowhere. Uploaded the 4GB file that had been corrupted (I think power drop at some point in the recording) along with a smaller file that was uncorrupted, had my corrupted file FIXED flawlessly in about 5 minutes. Instructions were clear, super simple, and it saved me a good 3 or 4 hours of tricks and foolishness to edit a video with the last 5 minutes missing.

100 Mo c'est du f0utage de gueu£e (merci la censure), le prix de la licence pro obligatoire pour passer cet obstacle est bien trop chère: plus de 84€ !

(100 MB is ridiculous, and the price of the mandatory professional license required to overcome this obstacle is far too expensive: over 84€!)

After trying another document recovery program and being completely frustrated and unsatisfied, I tried Disk Drill. It was quick and simple to use, and it recovered more files than I was hoping for.
I am far from a tech expert. "Plug and play" is the extent of my knowledge and experience. But Disk Drill couldn't have been easier to use.
If you want to recover files or documents that you thought were lost forever, I strongly recommend Disk Drill.

I had nearly given up on an 8.93 GB video file that got corrupted when the power source was turned off mid-recording. Most tools refused to even attempt it because of the size, but CleverFiles stepped up. Their team guided me through uploading via Dropbox, worked on the file manually, and delivered a repaired version that opened perfectly.

Their support was professional, patient, and surprisingly fast — they didn’t leave me hanging. I had audio recorded separately, so getting the video back alone was a huge win. What really stood out was that they handled a file larger than their advertised online limit, which tells me they actually care about solving problems, not just selling software.

Highly recommend them if you're dealing with large or complex video corruption issues.

Best recovery software ever. Easy to use with superb results, managed to recover almost 1TB of a damaged disk with almost 0 loss.

12,000 pictures and 800 videos saved.
Worth every penny - i would have paid someone else the same money if not more to do it for me. I have had bad luck with hard drives and micro sd cards. this software gives me peace of mind.

I am not an I.T experienced person at all, but this software with literally 2 button pushes after software download was all that was required. I retrieved 50GB of Drone Footage off an SD card I had deleted in full. Took about 30mins. Bargain price if you need your data back in my view.

CleverFiles allowed me to recover over 500gb of data from a damaged external drive. Without the software I couldn't even see the file structure. After trying the demo (which showed me the files were still there), I gladly paid for the pro version and recovered the files over several hours. Highly recommended!

I created my own problems that the CleverFiles support helped me solve. I feel happy with both version 6 Pro and fantastic support.

Showed the files as available to recover. After paying, the files were not recoverable. This company uses bait and switch to get your money.

The product we're using (Disk Drill) is excellent for data recovery.
Experiencing a difficulty today, we contacted CleverFiles support and they helped super quickly!
They're professional and kind.
Thanks!

DO NOT USE/BUY
Not clearly stated that only up to 100MB are free at the beginning
6 hours later... £70 charge for upgrade
Folder names MEANINGLESS so can't search for smaller MB amount
Sucked it up, put it down to experience, paid money only to find DiskDrill...
INCORRECTLY said D:drive read only SO WOULDN'T SAVE FILES
Wasted more time with CMD DISKPART - but there was nothing wrong with it D:drive was not readonly
Used Recuva instead, search filters for date, type of document etc before you search... recovered specific documents in 30 minutes FOR FREE
NO REFUND possible with Not cleverfiles rdiskdrill ip off
DISK DRILL was the only thing that DIDN'T WORK in all of this.

Es un timo! No lo compreis! Con el scanner te hace crees que puedes recuperar un cientos de miles de archivos si pagas por la app, lo pagas y luego no te recupera ni uno solo! NO LO PAGUÉIS!

I am extremely happy with the kind of assistance and support from this group. I was able to utilize the video which was accidentally corrupted while recording.

George R. was able to answer my questions clearly about Disk Drill update, gave me the link for the update to the current version at that time. And he also notified and gave me life time access to their software, including future upgrades, as far as I have understood.
