Coadjute...AVOID time consuming nonsense
Totally reflect all other reviews previously. A continuous request for the same documents, which is both annoying and time consuming. There is no phone number to contact them, instead you have to create a 'support ticket' which does NOT address your concerns, but does request the same document !! pointless intervention. I will never use an estate agent that uses this incompetent company again.

A Truly Horrific Intervention in Your lLife
The people who created this app have no understanding of how to explain the customer journey from the start.
It is not fit for purpose and hides behind the fact that this is a legal requirement.
Also once you start this process without all the documents you need, because they don't explain that they are needed, they bombard you with messages asking what is wrong as if you had a non functional brain. A truly appalling experience. The designers of this app should sit down with a blank sheet of paper and a big sign that says customer and start again.

Thanks for your review, David. We do set out what is required at the start of the process and also provide help videos which many find helpful. There is no need to gather all the information in one sitting, you can stop at any time and come back. As for the prompts and reminders, they are there to help people finish the process, although we're always trying to get the balance right and are sorry to hear they were a bit much for you.
Protracted and Intrusive
How to make a relatively simple task unnecessarily protracted and intrusive. my honest advice is to avoid Estate agents who use this platform. £40 plus Vat for a week of emails when a simple trip to the Estate agent with all your documents worked very well.

Thanks for the comments, Jane. Over the last few years, anti-money laundering obligations have become much more extensive than in the past, which why many estate agents now use our specialist service. Our fee covers the extensive and sometimes complex work required to meet HMRC standards, and we do aim to complete cases as quickly and simply we can.

Hello Anthony, the fee covers a full anti-money laundering service to HMRC standards and reflects what is involved in meeting the extensive obligations that now apply. We appreciate asking for additional information is never welcome, and do try not to, but because the regulations set a high standard for evidence, unfortunately we do sometimes have to.
Utterly flawed piece of software
Utterly flawed piece of software; badly organised, very badly explained and not intuitive or user friendly. Why do they not clearly list all documentation required and what are the acceptable formats before one ends up starting the process? Even the price is wrong, most users will be private individuals and so the £45 cost first seen is illegal, this should be the VAT inclusive price of £54 which apperars at the next screen. Just a bunch of crooks and they should be taken to court for runnoing scam pricing. They still do not accept that they broke the law by not showing the price including VAT from the start as required by UK law for private consumers - FACT

We provide helpful videos and explanations to guide users through the experience, and our UK team is also available to provide support. The full price including VAT is shown before any payment is taken, and nothing is charged until this has been seen. We do list the documents and formats needed before you begin, and you can pause and return once you have everything to hand.

A waste of money and time as far as my experience went. Made a very simple process cyclical and did not appear to understand basic banking or financial statements. Asked for documentation that had already been supplied, and were frustrating to deal with. Given my experience of their actual abilities I'm not sure i would trust confidential information to them....although they do put a lot of effort into presentation and marketing 'flannel'. One to avoid i think.

Over the last few years, anti-money laundering obligations have become much more extensive than in the past, and we deal with many complex cases including companies, trusts and purchases by international buyers in over 70 countries. We do try and make the process as simple and straightforward as we can, although sometimes have to come back where HMRC standards require it. Data security is of course a central part of what we do: we are backed by UK financial institutions, and all information supplied is held securely.
