I ordered hiking boots and two fleece on the 12th September. It is now the 22nd September and they have been stuck in Tamworth (I live in Scotland) since 14th September. What a nightmare day I have had trying to contact customer service; phonecalls that were a waste of my time etc. I then get a message to say my problem has been resolved - no it hasn't. Then I receive an email to say it will take 15 days to search for the lost package and if it is not found they will finally refund me. I tried calling again just after 5pm. The voice message states that you can call them until 6pm but at 5 there is nobody there and you will have to call tomorrow - wow. No wonder it is supposedly free delivery when it is so bad. But in any case, it will be factored into the cost of the items. The order was just over £200. Appalling customer service and care. This is my second order with them and my last! It's ridiculous that you have to wait for 15 days for them to resolve a problem caused by them.

Bought a Colombia waterproof rain jacket online. The jacket is not under warranty any longer. The jacket sets off the security beams at shops doors both entering and leaving. There are no visible security tabs on the jacket. Contacted customer services Dublin and was advised submit a complaint online under warranty. This does not work as I no longer have the purchase order number. Tried to call them again but they have blocked my number. What despicable and shameful customer services! Do not buy online from Colombia Sportswear.

Don’t buy from their outlet stores. There’s a small sign on the till that they don’t point out that goes against their own refund policy. No refunds only credit from outlet stores. Couldn’t try clothes on in store so bought thinking I was ok. Didn’t fit so took in to be told I won’t be getting a refund, only credit. Stay away from these stores. Although looking at the reviews here I’d say stay away from them all together.

- Allowed me to order 2 items as showing in stock
- soon after one item cancelled due to out of stock, very weird.
- they refunded the amount of the cancelled item and charged my payment method the amount for the other, awaited almost 6 days to receive any shipping information (4-5 days delivery as stated on website)
- as nothing happened, contacted their customer service number by text as advised, never recieved a reply
- decided to call them couple of days later, the customer service agent connection wasn't good, muffled sound, lots of inconvenience during the call, no effective communication. apologised and terminated the call.
- finally recieved an email about the other item is also out of stock.
- this retailer is a non reliable loser business
- I urge everyone to avoid the stress and inconvenience and lots of uncertainties and time waste that you spend with them.

My order was marked as delivered, but the UPS proof of delivery showed the parcel left unattended at the rear entrance of my apartment building. I never received it. I spent considerable time searching the building, speaking with neighbours and completing the investigation paperwork. While Columbia eventually processed the investigation, the overall experience was disappointing and placed the burden of resolving the issue on the customer.

I wish I had these reviews before ordering a jacket. It was too large and so I returned it for a refund. It took four weeks and three phone calls to eventually get an email acknowledging return and refund. I will not be ordering from them again. Customer services were extremely unhelpful.

Purchased Columbia zipper leg camping pants about 9 months ago from my usual go to outdoor shop (great place). Now - 9 months later - the stitching on both back side pockets have come undone. Store where I purchased said they can’t help. Summary - poor quality. I won’t waste any more money on anything with the Columbia name on it.

Ordered some items , took a week to arrive, always wear a size 34 tries Waste these are at least 2 inches small, trainers to small as well, tried to return put your order number in and email address and it constantly comes up with does not match to order, none of the customer service phone Line work, then I noticed that you have to print your own label who would use a Service where you can’t get the label printed at the point of return. These are terrible never buy from this company again.

Terrible customer service.
Misleading information on the website. It states delivery in 4-5 working days but doesn't state that it takes a further 4-5 days for them to process the order.
When contacted, they are dismissive.
I raised a complaint and this was ignored and then just closed down.

customer service is amazing. I was amazed by the high-quality and professional service I received from everyone I had to deal with. They were very understanding and patient, sincere and informative in helping me resolve my issues. Good company, quality products, professional - amazing service.

Worst customer service ever

Truly horrible returns. Dropped off well over a month ago and tracking shows delivered. Reached out 3 times, they say it was lost by UPS so fill out some form swearing i really did return the items. Then promised refund within a few days, 2 weeks later still nothing. Chased again they will 'expedite'. Still nothing another week on and stopped replying. I paid via Klarna who are now chasing no end. Super annoying and frustrating.

I bought a pair of trousers from them recently and a week later both hems on both legs had frayed and become undone. I asked for a refund but even though they are listed as hiking trousers and many times express how they are suited for hiking, since I wore them hiking the warranty does not cover the product as it’s not its intended use. Very disappointed

Terrible overall experience. Unhelpful and slow customer support. HORRIBLE return process. Not a good business practice to make your customers stressed and angry, let's see how that ends up for you.

This has been a nightmare, and I haven’t even received my shoes yet. I would never have placed the order had I known they use UPS and that I’d need to stay home all day to sign for the parcel. The chatbots are dreadful, and there’s no way to speak to an actual person anymore.

Received order a little late which seems to be the overwhelming trend. However after six months of use the main complaint is that the products are starting to deteriorate. The zip on the coat constantly fails and comes open if I bend over. The boots material is fraying and certainly is no longer water resistant. Overall very dissatisfied that over £200 on a few items and neither has lasted more than a few months of use.

I recommend you buy your Columbia Sportswear from online suppliers within the UK rather than ordering direct from the company. Their warehouse seems to be based in France so there was a delay in dispatching the order and a very worrying long wait for a refund. The returns are via UPS to Coventry and then they are sent to France. You have to wait 15 working days (that does not include weekends) for a refund. This is an unacceptable amount of time which causes buyers significant worry and stress. The customer services only reply to emails. They do however reply and quite promptly if you include order numbers and address. The telephone number listed does not work. Its such a shame the company doesn't address this warehouse in France situation because the quality of the goods is of good standard. Overall my experience was bad so I will not be ordering again direct from Columbia.

Columbia do not follow UK law and do not provide returns within 14 days of receiving a returned item. Completely unacceptable for such a large brand.

I purchased a skiing jacket which unfortunately was too big. The quality was absolutely fine and the item arrived reasonably quick. It took about 4-5 days which isn't the best but postage was free.

However, due to the coat being too big I returned it and it was shown as received by them over a week ago on the tracking website but still no refund. After doing some digging I learnt that your return first goes to their UK warehouse in coventry and then at some point they ship it to their main site in France (they say within 10-15 days!) where it will then be inspected and a return processed. This is the most ludicrous returns system I've come across and is simply too long winded. I am now without the product or my money and for god knows how long.

I do not recommend purchasing/dealing with this company online. Their stock is decent quality but they are stuck in the dark ages in terms of processes.

Slow refund processing. You wait a week until returned to UK warehouse THEN over 2 weeks until returned to french warehouse . Why can't they inspect and refund at uk warehouse? Ridiculous. For that reason I won't order from them again
