Don't buy from here if you may need to return something.

They received the return on 17.2 & I've heard nothing since. I tried customer service but didn't get anywhere really - from what I understood I now have to call back in a few days. There were communication difficulties with call centre.

Meanwhile I'm out of pocket & chasing around for my refund.

Not what you expect from a large company really buy I've learnt my lesson & I'll never buy from them directly again.

Absolutely non existent customer service. Ordered a pair of boots for my partner. Delivery was slow but probably did arrive within the estimated maximum working days period. Boots were too small so had to initiate a return. The process of creating a returns label through the courier service (UPS) was easy. Drop off for product via UPS was also seamless. Problems begin here. I tracked return back to the warehouse in Coventry but Columbia have not provided any update. They haven’t confirmed receipt of the return and I’m “guessing” they have it.
I ordered a replacement pair for partner but forgot to use my discount coupon so tried to cancel order. Rang customer service and was told there’s nothing they can do. I therefore have to wait for item to be delivered to return it immediately (and no doubt wait forever for a second refund!)
Finally ordered the correct pair for correct price with coupon and boots look great. It’s the effort to order them and deal with poor returns service and customer service that means I won’t order from this company again.

Awful customer service, do not buy from here! I paid £4.90 for standard delivery which said 3-4 working days to arrive for a present for someone. After a week it hadn’t even been dispatched yet, so clearly it wasn’t going to arrive within the stated timeframe when they hadn’t even bothered to send it yet. I asked to cancel the order, but Laurent from customer services said it couldn’t be cancelled and would be dispatched within the next few business days! Absolutely terrible service, and made worse by refusing to cancel despite the fact the order has not been processed or left the warehouse yet. I’ll be returning the item so they’re just wasting everyone’s time.

Awful customer service. Sent 2 items back via a ups pick up point 3 weeks ago. Still no refund or updates. Customer service UK phone number does not work. Email gets no response. Will be escalating with my bank now for charge back. Will never order from Columbia again

My wife brought me the Peakfreak II Mid Outdry Walking Boots in November and whilst they are very comfy they are now completely pointless for walking in the wet that they were purchased for as they are no longer waterproof at all !! I find it incredibly frustrating that this has “co-incidentally” happened shortly after the return date has expired.

Poor support, inflexible policies, and broken delivery management

Finding the correct support form is unnecessarily difficult, and once you do, it’s largely pointless - support staff are unable (or unwilling) to actually help.

Once an order is placed, Columbia refuse to change delivery addresses under any circumstances, even immediately after purchase.

I ordered several items and, due to Shopify autofill, the delivery address defaulted to an old one. That’s on me - but I contacted Columbia immediately after placing the order to cancel or amend it. They refused, stating they could not change the address or cancel the order until it had been handed over to the courier (UPS).

Once UPS had the parcel, I tried repeatedly (dozens of attempts) to redirect the delivery through UPS’ own system - only to discover that Columbia has disabled the setting that allows customers to change delivery details. This isn’t a UPS limitation; it’s Columbia's choice.

I reported this back to Columbia and requested a refund, as their inflexible policies, poor support, and mismanaged courier setup directly resulted in losing £200 worth of goods.

Overall: outdated systems, zero flexibility, and support that hides behind policy instead of helping customers.

Paid £140 for a smock coat 1 week of wear and the velcro tab was falling apart. I emailed with Patricia back on fourth and all I wanted was a replacement coat not money and she offered me 10% refund and 10% off code!!!! Complete and utter garbage ive had to buy the same coat again and send this one back for a full refund. Absolutely garbage customer care!!! They sold me a product that was poorly made and didn't want to replace it i had to fork out for a new coat my self !!! Great products poorly made and shit customers service

Disappointing experience with the Columbia Sportswear webshop. My jacket (Men's Tunnel Falls™ II 3-in-1) had loose Velcro and stitching broken after only a few wears, making it non-waterproof. Customer service doesn't offer replacements while they have the jacket in stock. They don't care about customers, only about their internal policies. Very poor quality and inflexible service – don't order from here!

Nothing more than disappointment, I order 4 items from Columbia on Saturday the 11 January hoping they will arrive in the 3-4 working days they promised. The time have past and the items haven’t arrived or even shipped! I’m sure I’m gonna return this items since I would not be needing them by then … horrible customer service and no solution or reply whatsoever. I prefer to order in another website than this. Don’t recommend!!!

Delivery is so poor.
I ordered an item very early Monday morning (7am) hoping it would get here for Saturday, which seemed reasonable as it said delivery is 4 to 5 days. Now 4 days later the boots still haven't been shipped let alone delivered. When you contact customer services you get nothing back. Safe to say I won't order from them again.

Ordered clothes on 2nd January, items not dispatched yet.

Called and emailed customer service for days without a response.

We are now 11+ days later, and this is not resolved nor are items received or refunded.

Avoid at all costs.

I might add that I have bought goods to be delivered in the UK and that they have a UK warehouse- so what is the excuse?

Shockingly surprised that such a large fashion house can be so lacking in both operational dispatch of goods and customer service.

If I could give them 0 I would. Sent some items back last month and took ages for a refund after asking where items were. Due to the shocking service I returned the other item I had originally kept due to appalling service. This item was posted back to them on 23rd December. They recieved it on 30th December and I am still waiting for confirmation and my refund for the item. I will NOT be purchasing anything else from these and will make sure other people are aware before they part with their money. Shocking service!!

Jesus christ…. Never ever buying anything again from them. Customer service? What customer service? They just point at each other. Bought fleece first day wearing it in car have permanent stamped seat belt all over the brand new jumper, litterally walking with printed seatbelt on it since day one. Had one reply with suggestions what to do with it from Rachael as apperantly its normal to happen overtime she said even tho i said it happened since day one. Tried calling but need to wait for her repply, been 2 weeks no answer. So thanku very much

I ordered online a columbia sherpa jacket, after ordering it got my email confirmation as expected. After a couple days passed I still had no email to say item been dispatched so I then looked up reviews to see that there was hundreds of negatives. Few more days past and at this point i was getting worried. I then emailed the company and asked where my package is etc. They responded quickly and reassured me that my parcel was on the way. Ordered on the 28th dec 2025 and item arrived 6th January 2026 and I'm in love with my sherpa jacket. Just annoying that you wait so long for them to dispatch your items

The single worst customer experience I've ever had. Black Friday delays meant that it took about two weeks to despatch my order. This is actually understandable; what is not is their attitude. No apologies, no update emails, no discount offers, and when I spoke with them, they said, on two occasions, "There's nothing we can do about it, so don't call again, you'll just get the same reply". (and yes, Columbia, you can listen to your calls to confirm this)

I then got the same jacket from a competitor, for £20 less, who despatched it on next day delivery.

Their gear is great. Their service is SHOCKING. Order elsewhere.

Terrible customer service, the guy I talked seem to be like fallen from the tree or something. No help received, only some vague answers. I regret purchasing from this shop
