I am paying for Commerce Sync because I know of no other replacement for the free Bold Commerce product. Both have the flaw of not syncing the customer's name to QBO, just "Square customer", which obliges us to search by means of date and amount, in order to match invoices and payments.
I don't want to publish this complaint, merely bring it to CS's attention, as I have not succeded in doing by other means. Fuji Voll

I have previously tried to populate the customer data on Square, but found it to be prohibitively time consuming, and did not solve the problem. What is the rationale that requires the customer's name, which is certainly known to Square, to be kept from the merchant?

Shailee was able to see our sales were "hung up" and release those funds to us.
Appreciate the easier downloads. Categories would be an additional plus.
My deposits are being pulled into QB two times. Making my gross income double.
It just works! Seamlessly. On the rare occasion there was a disconnect with the credit card company, Commerce Sync was able to locate the issue and resolve it very quickly.
I don't know what I'd do with out Commerce Sync! No, I do. I'd spend hours trying to get sales inputted into QuickBooks. Thanks for what you do!

I think you have broken up so many duties and assigned parts to different areas than no one person can solve a problem. a problem I has should have been resolved with one call over a few minutes but it took 4 phone calls over almost a month to resolve the issue. And during that month I spoke with 4 different people who could not help at all.
Having all transactions accurately integrate into Quickbooks from Square is great.
Constantly misses transaction to import. Expensive for what it does. Much easier downloading QBO file.
AVOID - THIS IS A SCAM.
The app offers no real benefit to a real business, it doesn’t track purchases on the apps it specialises in which makes it irrelevant. If you try to cancel it you cant, and you find out months later they have charged you a full subscription even though you have never used it and disconnected it. In trying to get those charges back they explained that they can’t refund anything over 10 days… which is an illegal practice in itself.
Clover & Commerce Sync are running a fraudulent activity, it’s a clever way of charging money to companies who wont notice it for some time, or at all.

It requires me to go back and fill in the donor info because it doesn't import the name, just the email, or nothing at all and it just says "Stripe donor". Also if it was restricted for anything, it doesn't show up and i Have to go through all the receipts in my emails. It should import all the donor info into QB.

Erroneous integration. The integration is obscure and I end up with orphan transactions/imports in Quickbooks. If I have to go through all transactions manually I might as well not have any automation.

Customer service via email is not acceptable anymore. Problems with a software that is depended on so heavily needs quick and accurate solutions, not days or weeks of words through email. We do over 100 transactions per day and each transaction was made into an invoice. No successful solution was given over a 5 day period of emails which puts me further and further behind and after all the inaccurate categorizing, I am now 3 months behind. All this could have been prevented with phone conversation in 10 minutes.

We have found our experience with customer service to be pretty poor and the service we pay for is overpriced and lacking key functionality items. We are planning on dropping your service as soon as we find a better service witch looks like we can with square space.
