Saves time….

Commercesync takes care of syncing all our Square sales to QBO, which saves so many bookkeeping hours. Set up was easy and any time I needed support, my issues were dealt with very quickly. Highly recommend.

Limited syncing omits customer name

I am paying for Commerce Sync because I know of no other replacement for the free Bold Commerce product. Both have the flaw of not syncing the customer's name to QBO, just "Square customer", which obliges us to search by means of date and amount, in order to match invoices and payments.

I don't want to publish this complaint, merely bring it to CS's attention, as I have not succeded in doing by other means. Fuji Voll

PS to the Commerce Sync Team :
I have previously tried to populate the customer data on Square, but found it to be prohibitively time consuming, and did not solve the problem. What is the rationale that requires the customer's name, which is certainly known to Square, to be kept from the merchant?

If you have customer information, such as the name, in your Square point of sale or payment solution Commerce Sync can transfer this information into QuickBooks.

The details transferred do not come from the credit card information, but from the Customer/Contact database in your point of sale or payment solution.

It just works!

It just works! Seamlessly. On the rare occasion there was a disconnect with the credit card company, Commerce Sync was able to locate the issue and resolve it very quickly.

Lack of Knowledge

many of your staff is either inadequately trained or incapable. The don't seem to be able to answer the simplest question or resolve problems. I think you have broken up so many duties and assigned parts to different areas than no one person can solve a problem. a problem I has should have been resolved with one call over a few minutes but it took 4 phone calls over almost a month to resolve the issue. And during that month I spoke with 4 different people who could not help at all.

AVOID - FRAUDULENT APP

AVOID - THIS IS A SCAM.
The app offers no real benefit to a real business, it doesn’t track purchases on the apps it specialises in which makes it irrelevant. If you try to cancel it you cant, and you find out months later they have charged you a full subscription even though you have never used it and disconnected it. In trying to get those charges back they explained that they can’t refund anything over 10 days… which is an illegal practice in itself.
Clover & Commerce Sync are running a fraudulent activity, it’s a clever way of charging money to companies who wont notice it for some time, or at all.

It's important to clarify that Commerce Sync is a legitimate application designed to automatically sync sales data from your Clover device to QuickBooks or Xero. Confusion often arises from the option to "quick install" Commerce Sync through Clover devices.

Once initiated, going into the Commerce Sync app completion of the installation process, by granting access to your QuickBooks or Xero account, is necessary. Unfortunately, without this final step, we're unable to access your information for syncing purposes.

Regarding refunds and cancellations, it's essential to note that Clover manages subscriptions and billing for applications in their marketplace. Regrettably, after the initial 10-day period, we lack the authority to issue refunds, as we don't oversee billing beyond that timeframe.

For assistance with refunds, we recommend reaching out to Clover directly. We apologize for any inconvenience this situation has caused and empathize with your frustration. However, we kindly request refraining from attributing issues beyond our control to our business.

It requires me to go back and fill in…

It requires me to go back and fill in the donor info because it doesn't import the name, just the email, or nothing at all and it just says "Stripe donor". Also if it was restricted for anything, it doesn't show up and i Have to go through all the receipts in my emails. It should import all the donor info into QB.

Erroneous integration

Erroneous integration. The integration is obscure and I end up with orphan transactions/imports in Quickbooks. If I have to go through all transactions manually I might as well not have any automation.

email is not customer service

Customer service via email is not acceptable anymore. Problems with a software that is depended on so heavily needs quick and accurate solutions, not days or weeks of words through email. We do over 100 transactions per day and each transaction was made into an invoice. No successful solution was given over a 5 day period of emails which puts me further and further behind and after all the inaccurate categorizing, I am now 3 months behind. All this could have been prevented with phone conversation in 10 minutes.

We have found our experience with…

We have found our experience with customer service to be pretty poor and the service we pay for is overpriced and lacking key functionality items. We are planning on dropping your service as soon as we find a better service witch looks like we can with square space.
