Disgusting sales tactics
Disgusting sales tactics.
Target small businesses with contracts you can’t get out of easily.
They do this especially during a busy wedding show. We will be letting every stand at the next one know their sales tactics with an information leaflet.
They don’t give you the information to obtain their “stop code” when finally find out how to get it and you do request it it will take ages to come through.
Sales reps tell you it’s a 3 month no obligation trial with no requirement for bank or card details. What they don’t tell you is that at the end of the 3 month trial you will be billed for 12 months.
All the enquiries we had from them we didn’t get a single reply leading me to believe these are fake enquiries.
Since the free trial has ended we have not had a single enquiry.
They don’t supply a login or access to the portal.
There is a Facebook group with over 1,200 members that have had the same experience they are also collecting evidence for a class action lawsuit against them
If you are a wedding business do not sign a contract with this company, Bride U.K., whitespace group are any companies that are related to these

The company tried to have the review removed for defamatory statements which trustpilot refused.
Their reply is a typical copy and paste reply with no empathy towards the business.
We were never given any link or way to access the merchant portal until we had the £2000+ bill for a year of services which we don’t want
There has been no discussion just a refusal of empathy from the company. I did access the stop code and our business isn’t even listed on their site so I am unsure what I am actually being asked to pay for?
There is no discussion to be had all that has happened within a week of talking to them about how I don’t want to carry on with their service getting threatening letters for court

However, there are a number of statements within your review which we believe do not accurately reflect the circumstances, and we would like to address these for the benefit of both you and those reading your review.
Confetti provides businesses with an initial three-month advertising period free of charge, allowing them to assess whether the service is suitable for their business before the campaign becomes chargeable. There is no obligation to proceed to the paid campaign provided the agreed opt-out procedure is completed within the trial period.
The purpose of the trial is precisely to allow an individual business to assess whether the advertising works for them
We do not accept that the OPT OUT CODE procedure is designed to make cancellation difficult. It provides a clear and secure method for the authorised account holder to confirm that they wish to stop their campaign before renewal. The process consists of a small number of straightforward steps completed through the client's online account, following which a unique OPT OUT CODE confirms that the campaign has been stopped.
We respect your right to express dissatisfaction with your experience. However, we cannot agree with allegations which we believe are unsupported by the facts. We would therefore ask that you reconsider those statements in light of the clarification provided above.
We remain willing to discuss your concerns directly and hope the matter can be resolved constructively.

Extremely disappointing experience
Extremely disappointing experience – I would not recommend
As a wedding venue, our experience with Confetti.co.uk has been extremely disappointing, from the initial sales process through to the platform itself and the quality of the enquiries.
The sales process was particularly concerning. We were offered a free trial which was described in the sales email as “risk free”, “no obligation” and with “no credit card required”. However, neither the sales email nor the sales call clearly explained to us that, unless we actively opted out, the trial would automatically roll into a 12-month contract.
When a platform is as expensive as this, I believe it is unethical not to make it explicitly clear that failing to take action will result in being locked into a year-long contract. If something is being presented as a “risk free” and “no obligation” trial, I would expect the terms of what happens afterwards to be made completely transparent.
We have raised our concerns with Confetti, but have been told that we are now locked into the 12-month contract and essentially cannot get out of it. Given how the trial was presented to us, this has been extremely frustrating.
Unfortunately, the platform itself has also been very poor. We have received just 9 enquiries in over three months, and not one has replied to us. The lack of engagement has been so extreme that it has genuinely made us question whether the enquiries are even genuine.
The platform also appears to have very limited visibility compared with other wedding advertising platforms. From our perspective, its relatively poor Google visibility may help explain why we have received so few enquiries.
We have experience advertising on other wedding platforms, so we have something to compare it with. We have advertised with Hitched for five years and we receive genuine enquiries that turn into bookings and can clearly justify the investment.
Confetti is nowhere near the same league for us. The combination of the sales process, the contractual situation and the extremely low number of enquiries has made this one of the most disappointing advertising experiences we’ve had.
Based on our experience, I would not recommend taking the Confetti free trial. In our experience, it has been a waste of time and money, and I personally do not feel that a company should be supported when I believe its sales practices are unethical.
If you are considering Confetti, I would strongly recommend reading the terms very carefully and making absolutely certain you understand what happens when the “free trial” ends. I certainly wish we had known that failing to opt out would leave us committed to a 12-month contract before we agreed to it.

Our free trial is offered to businesses so they can experience our advertising services before deciding whether they wish to continue. The terms of the trial, including what happens at the end of the free period and how to opt out, are set out in the documentation provided when a business signs up.
Legal proceedings are not an inevitable consequence of taking a free trial. As with any business-to-business agreement, however, where contractual obligations remain outstanding, there may be circumstances in which a business takes appropriate steps to recover sums it believes are lawfully due.
We take concerns about our service seriously and would always encourage customers to contact us directly so that we can review the individual circumstances of their account and address any concerns they may have.
