Really helpful company, easy to deal with, no pressure selling and seem to know everything when it comes to heat pumps.
They explained everything we needed and how it would work simply for us to understand. We went for the ecostore hot water system (which looks very cool) with a separate heating heat pump unit and so far its costing much less to run than our old oil boiler.

Manual - very poor , no legend or properly described LCD panel icons
Customer service- awful- almost impossible to speak to Thecnical person. The secretary will send you a PDF manual file with a fake APP that doesn’t work.
Apple nor Android are not working. Last updated 3 years ago. Doesn’t even load up... either.
Heat Pump unit- terrible. The unit dose not have a reset but if you would like to reset it you have to do that from the mains.
Error codes will come intermittent without a reason.
Defrost- automatically never works. After an error code will restart the unit automatically but not start the defrost process. Er. 35
As a refrigeration HP engineer very poor product and after sale service.

I bought EVI 10kW air to water heat pump from the Cool Energy Shop about one year ago. I have now experiences of this pump of two winter season. We have had colden than -20 degrees at night time. The pump can still produce 4-4.5kW with COP 1.6. Annual COP is 2.2 I am very satisfed of it. Long and cold season in Finland lower the efficiency, but I have seen even 10.5kW production at ambient temperature +25 degrees. During this time, only one malfunction has occured. Evaporator sensor was broken and it caused deicing failure. One e-mail to Cool Energy staff and they send me new one without charges. I can definetaly recommend this heat pump and Cool Energy Shop.

This is a well thought out product from a company that clearly knows its stuff. At Cool Energy HQ they have stock, demonstration and test facilities and experienced, enthusiastic people with detailed product knowledge.
The beautiful stainless cabinet contains a well laid out system, with the control electronics in a separate compartment. Wiring, plumbing and operation of the unit are all straightforward. Although I have not yet been able to assess the operation of the system in winter conditions, my observations of the power consumption and heat output of the device are in line with the manufacturer’s figures. The unit is quiet enough in operation and unlikely to trouble the neighbours.

Great Heat Pumps. I have been installing Heat Pumps for years, these are well above the pack and as good as the best.
