Costello Windows Reviews

Our dealings with Costello’s was brilliant from start to finish. They made it so easy and were more than helpful. The two lads that fitted the windows were brilliant. Brendan in the office was very helpful with grant

The final product is great. The guys who do the installation are great.
However, 1 of the 2 doors we had contacted to install did not work on day 1 due to a fabrication error. It didn’t close, which, since the Bronze Age, has been the principle function of doors. To get the installers to return to complete the installation of a door that did indeed close took 1 whole month of phone calls, texts, threats. When they did eventually come to fix the non- closing door, they did so at zero notice. Not good practice or manners.
So . . . The verdict on Costello Windows: product is top notch - if it happens to come from the factory in working order. If there are any post-installation problems, light a candle to St Anthony

Excellent showroom where I saw a wide range of options. All my queries were answered and at no point was any question too silly. The sales rep called to the house and everything was easy. The fitters arrived a few weeks earlier than id expected and did a solid job. This is a dusty job so id recommend removing or covering as much as possible from rooms. Its August and I already see the difference from my 25 year old doors and windows.

Costello were great to deal with. Getting a composite door was on the to-do list for a while and they made the whole process very easy. Most of it was done over the phone and they called to do measurements at a time that suited.
Time was taken to do installation correctly.
Door surpassed my expectations. I've more light, very solid door and it will be make difference in the winter in terms of heat loss. It is like a new house. Delighted.

I felt compelled to write this review because from start to finish I've had nothing but positive dealings with Costello Windows.
My first contact was with Hayden Costello, who I got in touch with after a friend of mine had recently had windows installed by the company and couldn't speak highly enough of them. From the very first phone call, Hayden was friendly, genuine and easy to deal with. He was always available when I had questions and, to be fair to him, he's still reachable now if I need anything.
One of the biggest reasons we chose Costello Windows was that they were able to beat every other quote we received, in some cases by €5,000–€6,000. On top of that, they were the only company that could give us exactly what we wanted. We wanted apex windows, a full stable door and a 3-fold bi-folding door. Other companies were humming and hawing about whether it could be done, but with Costello Windows the answer was simply "yes" every time.
When it came to installation, they turned up exactly when they said they would. Pedro, his father and John arrived to do the fitting and I couldn't fault them. Their workmanship on our new build was excellent and they were always polite, courteous, tidy and on time. It's clear they take pride in their work.
A couple of months later, two window handles became stiff and one broke. These things can happen, so I rang the office and spoke with Amelia in reception. I have to say she was incredibly nice to deal with. She was understanding, apologetic and went out of her way to help get the issue sorted quickly.
She arranged for a service visit and John, who has been with Costello Windows for over 20 years, came back out. Once again, he was friendly, professional and had everything fixed in no time at all.
What really stood out to me throughout the whole experience was the people. Hayden, Amelia, John, Pedro and Pedro's father were all a pleasure to deal with. They're genuinely nice people and excellent ambassadors for the company. To be honest, if I met any of them in the pub I'd happily sit down for a pint and a chat.
We had 13 triple-glazed French opening windows fitted in various sizes, along with a front door with side panels, a green stable back door, two large apex windows and a 3-metre-wide bi-folding door. The quality is fantastic and we're absolutely delighted with how everything looks.
Costello also have a lovely showroom in County Limerick where you can see their products, and it's great to see that the windows and doors are manufactured locally on site.
If I was doing anything again in the future involving windows or doors, Costello Windows would be my first phone call without hesitation. I would have no problem recommending them to anyone.
