Really excellent service - survey done yesterday and report received today. The surveyor confirmed they’d left and kindly worked quickly to get the report to me as there’s an urgency within the chain. Thank you!

We paid 799 pounds for a home survey before buying the property. When we moved in we found out that the washing machine couldn't connect, the hot shower didn't work and the house didn't have a way to stop the main water in case of a leak .
There was damp in two of the walls and the electrics are more than underwhelming. I'm really unimpressed with the work of the surveyor and wouldn't recommend this company at all.

Clearly not in a rush to secure new business or clients. Sent agent Shamsa an email asking about a Level 2 Survey and cost match. Didn't hear anything back and it's been several days. Even before that agents seemed unbothered on the phone and did the least over email. Decided to go with someone else.

I had an absolutely great experience. Daniella and her team were able to provide me with a surveyor who could conduct a specialist survey and turn around the report within a short space of time to meet my exchange of contract deadline. The team is an absolute lifesaver but Daniella went absolutely above and beyond to make this work for me! The surveyor was also provided a great service and is a credit to the team. Booked RICS Help to Buy valuation. There is no booking system and they will send you random dates and times, so after few emails back and forth managed to book a surveyor within a few days. Not bad even with the not so great communication system. Problems appeared now when I need an extension letter. Very long wait for any replies, after enquiring the only reply was few days later and it was just an invoice for another £100 for the letter. I paid and nothing happened. Email them to let them know and asked for confirmation, but no reply. After a week I called and not so helpful person said they will try to locate the payment and then they will pass it to the surveyor. Now 5 days later and still nothing! No communication whatsoever. I chose this company because of mostly good reviews, but it looks like the bad ones were true. If you want good communication, prompt response and value for money look elsewhere.
Edit: After initial 1 star review Crest contacted me the next working day and sorted the problem immediately and offered a partial refund. I hope they can improve on their communication in the future.
