David Lombardino | DLA Editors — Editorial & Consulting Reviews

I really like to sum everything in one word (awesome) !!!!!

T am happy with the copy-editing service provided by DLA Editors. It's a non-fiction manuscript. The editor I've been working with is Terry. She pays attention to details, spotting tiny typos and grammatical errors. She also corrects sentence structures, word usage, and punctuation. Her service is affordable. Her schedule is flexible. I have a pleasant experience with her.

I am a first-time author writing a historical fiction novel on the second Arab siege of Constantinople. I engaged DLA Editors & Proofers to review the first few chapters and provide developmental feedback. The DLA team provided helpful comments and suggestions as well as addressed my concerns on the book's substantive material, structure, and potential marketability. The turnaround time was fast and efficient - allowing me to implement their comments and suggestions so that I could continue writing the rest of my book.

I had a great experience with the editors in reviewing my CV, personal statement and interview coaching which got me a fellowship training position in the program I want.

I am so grateful for the DLA team. They always show genuine interest and professionalism in helping me achieve my writing goals.

I have been trusting DLA Editors and Proofers for over 8 years with my writing projects. They are always thorough. They also give helpful feedback!.

Terry was amazing. She gave me great feedback in a timely manner.

Wish the editors hadn’t made the sentences even lengthier. I was already struggling with sentence length. I thought the price was double of other companies and honestly wish I would have used a diff company. The wording was good. This was a business proposal but it ended up not making sense I’m assuming to the editors.

This was an awesome service, and I would recommend it to anyone applying to graduate programs. I am applying to several PhD programs this year, and I used this service to review my personal statements. I selected the package that includes 4 rounds of critiques and the final polish. I went into this process thinking I had a pretty solid personal statement already, but I got really great feedback. David left great comments, and gave constructive, specific feedback at every round. I feel that he helped me bring both my personal statements to another level, and that will go a long way in my application process. I would use DLA editors again!

People absolutely loved my first book edited by DLA in 2017. They said the book was so clear and informative. They do an outstanding job of turning my book into a great book.

David was absolutely fantastic. His keen attention to detail, and suggestions really helped me vamp up my resume.

a perfect choice
They have, among others, 24/7 availability, a very detailed description of the services before buying, close interaction with the editor, which is beyond helpful. Last but not least, the expertise and knowledge that you can perceive since the first approach with them.

They Gave me good feedback and recommendations that improved my application.

very good. thank you very much.

I am very grateful to Mr. Lombardino, who reviewed and edited my MSPE. As an IMG, it is tough to deeply understand what matters to prioritize in such an important document; However, Mr. Lombardino clarified it to me and did a great job turning my MSPE easy and exciting to be read.

This was not a good experience for me and I was not satisfied. I believe they did not care about making my personal statement the best but just to finish the rounds. I will not recommend it to any of my friends.

I’m very satisfied with the editing services they provided. I have to say I had a bunch of sample edits and no one came close to the depth edit Terry did. She is great and I’m so grateful for her help. I had 35,600 word manuscript and she gave me a developmental edit turn around time 4 weeks as she said. and almost 2,000 comments and edits. Im making my manuscript ready for a copy edit by Terry thank you
