The trainer was experienced, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. There was informative group discussion and participation. We only had 10/15 minutes break but we were all back on time if not before to continue the course. Even though it lasted 3 hours, time seemed to have passed by so quickly.

Absolutely superb course. Taken online - 3 hrs. None of us wanted to be there but the tutor Simon A was brilliant and it didn’t feel like a punishment. He was well informed, helpful, professional and funny and I genuinely enjoyed it! We discussed legal speed limits, impact of driving too fast (even 1mph over), safe speeds, hazard perception and more. Truly excellent content and delivery.

3 hours past very quickly

I have been driving cars for 63 years. With that amount of experience I know that I am predominantly a safe driver. Where the course scored with me was my lack of up to date knowledge surrounding the Highway Code. I need to brush up on that. The instructors made a good job of highlighting the meaning of signs on our roads. I learnt something in their approach. W

Online speed awareness course was informative and the instructer Sean friendly.
Made what could have been a dreary 3 hours on a Saturday evening, a pleasant experience.
Sean knows his stuff and delivers it well.
I will drive better as a result of this course.

Hi just wanted to say i really enjoyed the online course today with Gary Jo. It was a great course about speed awareness and very surprising at some of the things we learnt. It's good to go on theses type of course as things can change so much over the years. I was shocked that if your driving over 1mph it would hit a car or person at 8mph and then doing 80mph instead of 70mph you would hit an object at a whopping 39mph that is shocking and would cause a lot of damage and could definitely ends someone's life.
Gary made the course interesting and I've come away with a lot more knowledge.

They say of themselves..."Whilst many of our courses are driver-offender courses (such as speed awareness) and delegates often initially take up the police offer begrudgingly, we find that the vast majority of delegates find the experience helpful, informative, positive and progressive, and leave with a much improved attitude to speeding and other driving offences." I TOTALLY ENDORSE THIS. Attending in person with a group thoroughly recommended. No outside distractions, they are there to help us in a non patronising but soberingly educational way, a prompt to re re look at all the potential hazards and reconsider the consequences to others as well as ourselves of the way 'we' sometimes drive. 10 out of 10. Made me much more aware of the dangers of speeding even if it’s just a couple of mph. Great advisors. Easy to talk to and they answer any questions you may have. Recommended course to do if you don’t want points on your licence!!!

Excellent course. Very professional, friendly and informative. I attended in Oxford and the two female instructors were outstanding. Originally booked for online courses but my camera/microphone failed (twice!) so re-booked at my nearest venue at No extra cost. All very simple. Highly recommend doing the course, it's quite sobering what the effect of being even 1 mile/hr over the limit can be.

A very well-run course, interesting, thought-provoking and informative content which held the attention. Conducted by an excellent trainer, who treated us like friends or colleagues and not like criminals!

my experience on the driving speed awareness course today. At the start, we were told we could leave briefly if needed and return with our camera on. During the first hour, two other participants left and returned without issue. But when I left briefly around1:50 PM and tried to rejoin at 1:54, I was denied entry. I tried to rejoin multiple times. I then called AA customer service at 1:59 and stayed on the phone until about2:15 trying to resolve the issue. I was told that the instructor made a note at1:57 stating that I had left. I feel this was disproportionate, and I’m concerned about the inconsistent treatment between participants. KEITH the instructor has hatred in his heart and is not fit to be a trainee AVOID THIS COMPANY no solution offered from Keith’s behaviour

The course was great and the instructor Gary was engaging, professional and very kind. I have learnt the importance of speed reduction and it's safety implications.

I had a terrible experience with this provider. When joining my online course via Microsoft Teams, I ran into technical issues with my camera, which they assisted with, followed by an issue with the background blur feature. When asked to present my ID, I was told it was too blurry, but the instructor offered no advice or assistance on how to fix it.

When I expressed reasonable frustration over these technical difficulties, I was immediately booted off the course without any prior warning. To be completely clear, I did not swear or use abusive language toward the instructor—I simply voiced my dissatisfaction with the process and experience.

To make matters worse, I now have to pay an additional £30 to reschedule the training. I am currently going through severe personal, health, and financial challenges, so forcing customers to pay extra after removing them without warning for mild feedback is extremely unfair and lacking in basic empathy.

If you have a choice of training providers, I strongly advise steering clear of this company.

The trainer, Bernie, was so lovely and made the course so much nicer. For someone who has bad anxiety about these things, she made me feel so relaxed .

A well thought out & delivered course. Can thoroughly recommend as you are helped with action plans to help the retention of all learnt.

Instructors were friendly and professional with a good sense of humour. Course was interesting and very informative. I learned a lot I didn’t know and it has changed my driving perspective for the better. I am now a safer, more respectful driver

I never expected to enjoy the course - in fact, I was dreading spending four hours doing it however, Manny's delivery was so amusing and engaging, he had us all roaring with laughter and focusing vs nodding off and watching the clock. It was informative, enjoyable and I think that education is more effective in changing behaviour than punitive measures.

A very informative and professional course run by Mick and Mark. They were very easy to follow and made the 3 hour course very pleasant.

Don't get me wrong, but the last thing I wanted to do was to attend a speed awareness course. However, I broke the law and my options were limited. I'm glad that I chose Drivetech. The booking process was simple, and I was sent several reminders by email and text. On the day registration was straightforward and the instructor was friendly and engaging. The course was well organised and relevant, and was followed up by clear communications from Drivetech.

Did I learn anything? Begrudgingly, I have to admit that I did.
